IKEA - FADO Table Lamp, White + E26 bulb

After buying and returning a few light assisted alarm clock....that woke me with too bright a light (that you cant adjust), crazy harp like music (that you can't turn off), a radio that I did not need and yet another digital clock display that you can't dim or turn off...I decided what I really need is a smart light bulb with a light that provides as much dispersion as you can get. That would be a frosted sphere. This is a nice hand blown glass sphere, the base is polypro, but does just fine with an LED bulb. This lamp does the trick perfectly, paired with a Magic Light Bluetooth version(hand no luck with WIFI version), I have my own personal programmable sun. Needs the phone app to operate, but my phone is always charging bedside at night. And you can still use it as a lamp and for entertaining with the multi color features.

My daughter loved this IKEA lamp but hers broke moving back from college. This was a replacement and we love it. She was super happy to have this back it’s nicer and bigger then most lights with cheap plastic covers as the one is glass. I wasn’t happy about paying double the retail price for it though. We drove to IKEA and they were out of stock so I bit the bullet to surprise my daughter. Great lamp though.

I received the lamp on schedule, but there was no light bulb in the container. The product title and product description explained that the bulb would be included. Given the E26 light bulbs are the same price as the actual lamp, this was VERY inconvenient and costly.

LOVE this lamp so much! Such a beautiful light in any space. With a smart bulb, you can control the light to become any color.

Arrived sooner than expected, first class mail, and packaged nicely and safely. Paired great with the Phillips hue bulb… would give a 5 star if the price wasn’t hiked more than double, as well as the fact that both my sister and I both received ours which smelt like vinegar haha. Definitely might be worth the price if you need it in a rush :) and live remote.

Very happy with this lamp! The globe is high quality, smooth and shiny. Put it alongside a beautiful ship and it looks like the moon, lights up the ship on top of my fridge. A focal point problem in my apartment is now fixed. Thank you!

Unfortunately I had to pay twice the amount of money for this because IKEA site does not deliver to my area nor did any of the closest IKEA’s to me had it in stock. But I’m moving this month & needed a new lamp for my bedroom. This will add the perfect ambiance. I don’t like really bright lamps so I’m happy with this one.

Great lamp that puts out a lot of light and looks very stylish. Very hard to find in US Ikea stores because they can't keep them in stock.
