My dogs really like these and it takes them long time to chew ...
My dogs really like these and it takes them long time to chew them up, longer than the sticks, although we like the sticks, too. The seller states, "The American Rawhide natural dog chews contain NO artificial preservatives of any kind and all the ingredients (including the beef) are sourced in America. " They don't specify if that's North America only, but it appears as such. They don't have the flavor, but my dogs like them anyway, and chew them for something to do, not just for the taste, so they last longer. And they're not terribly expensive like some of the other products like bully sticks. I have 4 dogs and just can't afford to buy the more expensive ones, but I feel like they're still good and safe. Wholesome Hide makes chicken flavored chews, also, that I am going to try out soon.

My dog is obsessed !
Wholesome Hide chews are sourced and made only in the USA. Most others may be made in USA, but the hide itself is processed somewhere else like China. In the past, our beloved dog was poisoned and suffered from dog treats made in China. Years later, I still feel guilty and do not want any dog or owner to go through what we went through. On a more positive note, today our dog is not a big chewer, but is obsessed with the Wholesome Hide round bone (donut). More aggressive chewers would probably like the knotted bone and retriever rolls. The Wholesome Hide site has suggestions on suitable chews for different size dogs.

Great!
This product is good. I also buy the chips and the retriever rolls and have found that these donuts are in between the other two options in terms of chewing time. (Longer than chips, shorter than rolls).Personally I think it is funny when the dogs pick up the donut in their mouth and the ring flips over their nose!

My dog goes crazy with these!
Liked being able to order a multi pack of these donuts. My dog loves them, keeps her occupied and happy. I always keep an eye on her. I know these are digestible, but once she starts picking them apart, I take them away, let them "dry out a bit", and will let her reuse the next day. Love the brand.

WARNING! - Not individually wrapped or sealed.
I received one large back with 6 individual unsealed or wrapped rawhide donuts in them. Makes me wonder where they come from as I buy these individually at the grocery for $2.30/each and they are then each individually wrapped.Update: On taking my dog to his most recent Veterinarian visit my dog had a tooth that was broken down to the gum line and abscessed. The Vet said his teeth are healthy that he must have broke it chewing on something. Rawhide's are the only thing my dog has chewed on since he was a puppy years ago. It cost over $600 to have the tooth removed and he is now missing a tooth. In hindsight I should have thew these things away upon seeing they weren't each wrapped and sealed. In researching them that is imperative to prevent this from happening. I would advise strongly against giving these to your dog.

Kind of expensive.
Right size , wrong price. Bought another brand that was a lot less expensive but they were a little too big for my dog.

St. Bernard approved!!!
I have ordered these at least 4 or 5 times now. I gave them as Christmas presents to all my friends doggies and were a hit. My 160lb St. Bernard loves these things!!! He does usually go through one rawhide in one sitting, which is an expensive drawback, but he seems to like these better than the larger, thicker rawhides that last longer... Oh the things we do for our fur babies. :)
