Excellent!
Makes quick work of cleaning a technical pen. Very easy to use, it has threads for both ends of the nib so you can attach it in both directions and it also has an attachment that fits over the small diameter nib itself that helps to draw ink into the nib to begin its flow.In a stroke of good luck I found that in addition to Koh-I-noor Rapidographs the threads also fit Rotring Isographs and Rapidographs as well as the UniTech technical pens (these are the only ones I’ve tried so it probably fits even more).I also have an ultrasonic cleaner but since I started using this bulb cleaner I rarely need to use the ultrasonic unless I let a pen sit empty for a few weeks or I buy a used pen that’s been left dry.Even it it didn’t work so well as a cleaner (which it does) it’s worth the price just for the attachment that starts the flow in a new or newly filled pen. I use this feature a couple of times a week. No more tapping, tilting, gently shaking or patiently holding a pen tip down trying to get the ink to start flowing again! Simply squeeze the bulb and slide the attachment over the nib and let go of the bulb. The suction draws the ink down the feed and out the nib in seconds! It’s amazing! If you’ve used these pens for any length of time and have to refill ink or change colors frequently you know how frustrating it can be to get one started again. This little attachment puts an end to all of that.Anyone who uses technical pens frequently *needs* one of these!

Easy to Use
I'm a full-time student, almost 60 years old...I like compact products that aren't going to weigh down my backpack. I use these pens almost daily on archaeological illustrations, and it is so handy to have this kit at my fingertips.

Great for deep cleaning of Rapidograph pens
The KOH-I-NOOR cleaning kit is a must have for cleaning the Rapidograph pens. These pens are prone to having the ink dry up in them if not used regularly (like every day). The main problem is with the smaller nibs .18 and .13 tend to clog very quickly. Often, I have to use the wet paper towel method to coax out ink if I haven't used the pen in a couple of days...any more than that, then you are going to have to pull out the KIH-I-NOOR cleaning kit. This kit works extremely well, and is a must have if you want your pens to work after the first cleaning.I love my Rapidograph pens! If you have purchased the Rapidograph pens or have come across and old set at the yard sale or they were passed down, use this cleaner and you will once again be able to use the pens!Only thing I was disappointed with was the quality of the instructions in this kit. The print is extremely light and has about 1/2" of the left side of the paper cut off! Luckily, KOH-I-NOOR has the instructions on their website.

Worked great, just view videos for tips beforehand
I bought this cleaning kit for the used Repidograph pens I bought on eBay. The pens were in very good shape, but had not been cleaned in years. Ink had dried and I found it hard to remove. I used the cleaning kit using supplied instructions, but found YouTube video tips to be very helpful. For example, the Repidograph pen tips can be reversed and screwed into the accompanying cleaning kit bulb for a kind of "back flushing" that really helped clean the dirty pen tips. The pens now work like a charm. Recommended.

Just give up on Rapidographs
I know -- or assume -- that there are many people who swear by Koh-I-Noor Rapidographs. In the course of my life, I have probably owned twenty of them -- because in the very beginning, it's just wonderful to draw with them. But time after time after time I sit there, shaking the stinking pen, soaking it, flooding it, refilling it, and now buying a Pen Cleaning Kit. I do think that Rapidographs may be exclusively for those who will use them non-stop, graphic designers, etc. But for those of us who may use them for a few days then set them aside, I have never ever had a Rapidograph that functions how I wish it would. And the investment into this "cleaning kit" I thought might be the way finally to make it all work. I am this afternoon throwing the Pen Cleaning Kit and the three Rapidographs left in my set of ten into the trash.I honestly don't understand how I could be lured into buying something this many times with such an absolutely consistent failure and frustration rate. Again, I suspect that these may work fine for someone who uses them every day. But for the rest of us, I encourage everyone to consider the Pigma Micron pens....yes they have a limited ink supply and they do wear out. But never once has anyone seen me shaking and shaking these pens.....They work. Koh-I-Noor in my experience, is for the gullible.....and obviously, I count myself top of the list in this unholy category.

Even the driest pens come back to life.
I don't know how I missed this product for so many years, but it is a pen saver for sure. I love drawing with my koh-i-noor pen, but if you don't use it regularly, it clogs up. Mine had gotten clogged and I just chucked it to the back of the drawer. Fast forward ahead 3 years. I recently started drawing again and was thinking about buying a new pen, but then I saw this cleaner kit and thought I'd give it a shot. Granted, I had to soak the nib overnight, but my pen works as good as new.
