I'm so pleased with this I'm about to order another so both room lights match.In the back bedroom we have wardrobe doors that were catching on the pendant light so I bought this to allow the doors to open freely.The instructions are clearly written in good English. All fittings are supplied and there's a choice of mounting - using the bracket supplied or screwing the light straight onto the ceiling. I used the bracket because it allowed more room for error when drilling the ceiling. I needed a drill and a screwdriver and within 20 minutes it's up.The light doesn't shine into the wardrobes as well as the pendant did, but I expected that and it's not a big deal. The light is a cold, bright colour so I wouldn't personally use this in our bedroom, but the back bedroom is used for storage so it's fine.It's very light but doesn't feel or look cheap. That said, it's appearance is definitely functional not decorative, so if you want something attractive to look at this probably isn't for you. But if you want something slimline that's easy to fit and gives a bright light, I'd recommend this unit.

The cable joiners that come with product make it so easy to wire in. Read on other reviews that side access for power cable was not possible - it is - small breakout point on one side. Its very bright and will not work with a dimmer switch, but I didn't want it to. My main reason for choosing was that it is so shallow the understairs cupboard (now a downstairs loo has low ceiling).Been fitted now for a few weeks and still impressed- I would buy again.

My porch has a relative low ceiling and the existing pendular light fitting was too low. This flush mount ceiling light means people will no longer inadvertently bang their heads against the light.The most troublesome part of the installation was getting the wires to lay flat when attaching it to the ceiling. In the end I accepted it would not be completely flat and angled the gap towards the back of the fitting to hide it from view.

Very impressed with this little light fitting. It replaced an old incandescent fitting in our pantry and we are very pleased with the result. It is a very low profile fitting and due to the way it is mounted it is really best suited to flat ceilings (i.e. not heavily textured). The light is very bright and quite uniform. A simple bracket is fitted to the ceiling and then the fitting is screwed to that. I did not use the supplied spring type wire connectors, as I prefer a more robust screw connector, however I'm sure they would work OK.

Great powerful light. This is the easiest lights I have ever fitted just 2 wires. We have fitted 2 of these in our kitchen and they look great.

It works, sort of , but it feels and looks quite cheap and it was not easy to install in line with the ceiling. We find it poor value, I'm afraid
