Golf Tubes/Dividers - Standard 1.25" Size

I originally purchased a set for my wife. The grips on your driver and some other clubs were getting worn/tares. We determined it was from the grips getting rubbed hard against each other at the bottom of the golf bag. the tube dividers solved the problem and made it easier to get her clubs out of the bag.I also had the problems of having to push the clubs to the bottom after a shot and trouble pulling them out for a shot. After seeing how hers worked, I ordered this set for myself. Problem solved!

Divider tubes, right? Not much to them. Should work pretty well in any bag, right? Unfortunately not. I have an Ogio Shredder Black Ops Stand Bag... its a great bag, well made, but sewn in dividers do not run the length of the bag, nor side to side. With the exception of what I think is maybe two cloth dividers, all slots feed the same void. Believed these tubes would be a great way to keep the shafts separate and allow clubs to be easily removed and reinserted in the bag without hanging up on the other clubs and grips. What I realized upon receipt of the tubes was that the leg folding mechanism on some bags is completely on the exterior of the bag, but on mine, it is the entire bottom of the bag that compresses at an angle to open up and spread the legs. In effect, this lifts clubs or tubes about 3 inches out of the bag when it is leaned over onto its stands. I suppose if you have a bag like mine, and don't mind that, these tubes should be just fine for you and likely deserve 5 stars. Obviously, these tubes would work fine with Cart Bags as well.

I really liked the way the tubes fit my oversized grips; I wished I had ordered more at the same time. So tired of my clubs not going back in, or coming out of my bag, this has cured the problem.

What a bargain! I saw these tubes at Dick's for $3.99 each. I gathered a few and quickly saw that I was spending way more than I would from this deal on Amazon. I just didn't want to wait. Once I ordered, they came within a few days; I was very pleased and they are exactly what I wanted. N.B., if your putter has a larger grip, you may need to buy a different tube for the putter. My putter fit fine, but some of the new grips are enormous. These tubes are durable, very light weight and economical. Very pleased with my purchase!

They do not fit oversized grips, in fact, they barely fit regular grips. I assumed they would keep order in the bag and allow clubs to glide effortlessly in and out of the bag without ever getting entangled preventing their easy entrance and exit. That doesn't happen. If you have regular grips, they go in and out easier, but if you just snatch one of your clubs, expect the tube to come popping out with it and they can still be hard to get to the bottom of the bag as the tubes can intertwine. They help, but aren't the lifesaver I hoped for. I ended up buying a new bag with 14 built-in slots for clubs. Much heavier to carry around, but clubs with oversized grips pop in and out with no hassle at all and the bag I bought has a dedicated putter slot on the outside of the bag, so, for me the tubes were a waste of money. However, they are everything they are advertised to be, just don't get you hopes too high.

All the tubes I have tried do this and it isn’t a problem for steel shafts.I noticed grooves being cut into my graphite shafts where the shaft rests against the top of the tube. The tubes seem to have very fine ridges from the extruding process. As the clubs rock back and forth during a round on my pull cart, a groove has worn through the paint. I don’t know if it has worn into the graphite, but if it has, I can see the shaft snapping in the future. This may not be a problem with a riding cart as the clubs stand upright and there isn’t any weight resting on the top lip of the tube.

Much cheaper than buying these at the local golf store.

The lining of the side slots on my new bag kept pulling out. These tubes solved the problem.
