Amazing value, comfort and warmth
I really needed a pad that would hold up to sub zero temperatures. This pad not only does that but is amazingly comfortable (no bottoming out) and packs up to a very compact size. As a plus, its completely silent when moving around at night in my bag. No crunchy sounds. Love it!

Perfect, as offered, So says 60 yrs in scouts, military, Ghana, Guatemala, to list a couple creds
Like the 30/32? inch width at head/Shoulder, then lightly tapers to the feet slightly, so feet are not cramped. The "ribbed" "V" form chamber structure is very comfortable, tough. Little bit of work to inflate , not bad, deflate very easy. I am no 150 lb. featherweight anymore, more like 183 lb. and I did NOT bottom out sleeping in my cold weather tent up in Rhinelander WI, at 15-20 degree weather, no cold creep at all, no sore hips. KLYMIT STATIC V LUXE SL, Sleeping Pad is tough, SLOWLY work the air out rolling from foot end and keep stow sack handy and it packs away NO LARGER than it ships. It is about 1/3 larger than a few other units in market, but it is worth it if you don't like waking up sore from bottoming out. For the record, I also purchased and tested the WELLAX Ultralight Air Sleeping Pad, seemed well put together, tough, easy to inflate, deflate, but I bottomed out on it, not severely, but it just was not gonna make the grade. Probably great for some younger campers or families with kids. Thank you KLYMIT!. 02birdog out.

Big Guy Tested - Comfortable and Dependable
This is hands down the best sleeping pad I have ever owned. I am a XL guy at 6'3 and 300 pounds, along with being a side sleeper. This pad was extremely comfortable and never deflated through my entire trip. I have had many sleeping pads and never had one that kept me as warm or as comfortable as this one. I highly recommend this pad for anyone looking to purchase a quality comfortable sleeping pad.

Great.
After doing a little research, went ahead and got this. I have slept on it two Autumn nights so far and it is working better than I could have hoped. The positives.. It's very comfortable even on harder ground and the material feels soft yet sturdy. It has a very high R-value so it keeps you warm from the ground up. It is wide and good for rolling around. It is very easy to blow up and holds air all night (just be careful to shut the deflate valve tightly). It has a nice pattern shape to its surface that enhances the sleeping experience. The only small negative is that it isn't so very light and it packs up about the size of a 2 liter bottle.. For what it is and the comfort it brings to your sleep though, it's still a very small weight and size to carry.Overall, it seems to be working great and I am very happy I got it. It's a good value compared to the mattresses from other brands which seem to do similar things.

My experience with warmth differs from the updated rating.
My experience with warmth differs from the official updated rating. Manufacturer has one rating of R-6.5 but ASTM F3340-18 rates it at only R-1.3 which is worse than Ridgerest alone. My experience is that the performance is between the two numbers as it is as warm as my combination of a Therma-rest Pro-lite and Ridgerest. YMMV. It is reasonably quiet. You can fill with your breath or by manual pump sack or by an electric compressor. Your breath contains moisture which may lower the rating slightly so I use a micro-electric compressor.
