Cook's Pure Blackberry Extract 4 oz

The contents are great BUT, the bottle drips easily down the front when you pour it out. The label is made of cheap uncoated paper and after one use, it drips down the front. When you wipe it off, it removes all writing on the label. They need to put waterproof labels on this. Now I can't read the contents of the bottle. It is a big bottle so this is a waste. The flavor of the extract is very good. I just need a new label!

In fact I have know what it taste like or smells like what little flavor it has. I made ice cream this following the exact recipe as my strawberry Ice cream (different brand of extract). All I can think of is that I got a bottle of a bungled batch or this is the worst blackberry extract that I have ever tasted.

I used this product to flavor my christmas cookies and I am more than happy with the product. I would buy again and would reccomend it.

Google "propylene glycol" to find out why. I bought this product, along with several others, without running the ingredients by my wife first (a nurse of 30 years) shewas surprised when she noticed it.. we went a googling, and poured my $50 order down the drain afterwards. There's "pure" and then there's "not so much".....
