MONTBLANC Meisterstuck Classique Gold Rollerball (12890)

I have owned a couple of these over the years. The black Rollerball I received today is really great looking. I purchased it on Amazon and did not worry about whether it was genuine. I did check though and there is a serial number on the clip. Fake products never ever (IMO) have this professional of packaging. Was it costly and worth it? Yes & yes. When you purchase something this nice and it seems too expensive, think about how long you could use something that is a pleasure to use and is also beautiful. Hopefully that will be for a very long time. Amortize the cost of the pen for how many years you think you have left. If the cost per year is really low that is a very good thing. If it is pretty high then you may as well purchase the pen anyway and enjoy it for the time that you have left.

This pen is about as close to the Rolls Royce of writing instruments as I've found. It's a beautiful pen: physically appealing, with a weight to it, a cap that slips off and on slowly, and has a feel in your hand that is both light but strong to indicate an ability to take on the most challenging writing that you do. Its gold details are very nice. In all, this is a great looking and great performing pen, and well worth the price.

I ordered this pen early for a Christmas present. I had some reservations as the price was excellent, and there are so many knock-offs out there. Much to my delight the pen was everything I expected and more! It is in a beautiful gift box, and because it was shipped from Germany and there was a minor delay, they also included two ink refills and a Montblanc carrying case (so it doesn't get scratched in your purse??!!), or a gent could put the pen, in case, in his jacket pocket. Anyway, beautifully packaged, all the paper work authenticating the product. And I can't wait to give it to my son for Christmas. I would order again.

Somehow, this wonderful pen manages to make my awful penmanship flow and look beautiful. I feel like Dickie Greenleaf when I use it. Highly recommended.

This was about 2/3 the size to of a regular pen. It was intended for my son but too small for even my small hand .

Meets the expectations

Het is een mooie pen,schrijft wat stroef,kwam niet in mooie doos binnen,zoals ze eerst hadden weergegeven,maar in een zakje.Ik had ook een waterman roller pen gekocht.Die kosten maar 80 Euro ipv 440 euro. En schreef veel beter, mooi verpakt in een prachtige doos.

Absolutely superb pen, of course, which you would expect. Not cheap but a fantastic present and packaed in a beautiful presentation box. Prompt delivery by the supplier - Vert happy all round
