OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 - Frustration Free Packaging - BAHAMA WAY (BAHAMA BLUE/WHETSTONE BLUE)

First time OtterBox buyer (for my Samsung Galaxy 7; purchased in early July 2017) and I do really like the case (lightweight and not bulky) but am very disappointed with the quality and fit of the screen saver. Although the detailed product description indicated that this case did not come with a screen saver, it actually did. The screen saver lasted less than a month, didn't fit the entire screen (as other reviewers have noted), and continually gets air bubbles because the screen saver doesn't actually fully fit the phone and pulls away along the edges. I am not a novice at attaching these, and have had others last the entire life of my prior phones. Bottom-line: I would currently rate the case as 5 stars and the included screen saver as 1 star. I couldn't knock the full rating down to 3 stars just for the screen saver, but OtterBox should include something that actually works.

Have used only Otterbox Commuter Series from the beginning and love the way they perform! They aren't super bulky or super thin, right in the middle for great protection that fits your hand or pocket. Our daughter can only have an Otterbox on her phones as long as we are paying for them because she tends to drop it a lot... not as cute or fashionable as other cases but she is the only one of her friends without a cracked screen or broken phone because of it. I wish they would continue to make the Commuter Seriesfor all the phones. Otterbox doesn't make it for the Samsung A50 so we had to get the Otterbox Symmetry which works but isn't on the same par in our opinion.

Ok, I bought this a little over 2 years ago and felt I HAD to do a review. It has taken me this long to need a new case. This case is so durable and sturdy. I am a mom of two little kids who constantly drop my phone (and I tend to drop it a ton too) and spill and get dirt everywhere. I can not believe it's lasted this long. I just bought a new one of the exact same (but different color). My hubby has the same case as well that he bought over two years ago and his looks brand new still! I would highly recommend this case to people who have a tendency to drop your phone or have kids. I love it!! (Pics are right before a threw it away after 2 years)

Bought this case for my daughter's Samsung Galaxy S7. Fits her phone perfectly and offers sturdy protection.The phone and charger port covers are nice, but they can be a little tricky to get lined up correctly when you put on the outer hard plastic shell. We found the best way was to put the inner rubber gasket on, and then attach the bottom part of the plastic cover first, making sure that the port covers are lined up with the openings in the plastic shell. From there, just work your way up the sides and top securing the outer plastic shell over the rubber cover. Once installed correctly, the port covers pull open easily and seal shut securely.I echo what some of the other reviewers have said about the screen cover that comes with the case. It's pretty much a throw away. Getting it lined up correctly takes some time. In hindsight, I could have used a couple tape loops to act as handles to hold the screen protector over the phone to get it lined up. The little card that Otterbox supplies to push out the bubbles from under the protector is flimsy and useless.If you opt for this case, you'll get great protection for your S7, but you might as well plan on not installing the screen protector. I'll look for a tempered glass protector that will work with this case.

I buy otterbox cases because I drop my phone from time to time. I have a lot to carry around on a regular basis and like everyone else, stuff happens to the phone. I stick it in my purse etc. I just wanted protection I could trust from normal accidents. This did not provide that. The last otterbox I had was great. That's why I paid a premium for this one. However, this one did not do it's job and now I have a crack on the side of my phone that's starting to spread.

I've always bought this brand case for my phones. This is the first time I've had one break on me. I don't know how it broke because I haven't dropped it. A thin piece of the plastic at the bottom broke. As many as I've had that worked perfectly, this will not keep me from buying another one of these.

Very good quality and great protection.I drop my phone regularly because I'm a klutz. Using this case and a screen protector saves my phone time and time again.It is very robust. Though I did break the tiny strip of plastic by the head phone port. This did not interfere with the overall use or performance of the case.Colors as pictured.

So I am super hard on phones due to my occupation and I'm always dropping my phone from high heights onto concrete and other rough surfaces. I've had this for about a month and its holding up great! My phone is still in 100% shape

Can never go wrong with Otterbox! I like the frustration-free packaging this comes in.. its recyclable (paper) and much easy to open than typical Otterbox packaging. I have always been partial to black cases but my husband has the same phone in a black Otterbox. Really like the colour

Bought as a gift for my mom. The case itself was of good quality, but the screen protector did not have very clear instructions. She's never owned a smart phone before, so it's all new to her! She messed up the whole screen protector and couldn't use it. Otherwise great product! But the company should invest in making clearer instructions on how to put the screen protector on.

Purchased for ease of fit and function.

Nothing wrong with it, it’s just what my hubby wanted.

Love my Otterbox case! It's light but my iPhone know my phone is protected, just the screen protector doesn't fully cover
