Husqvarna 530095646 Fuel Filter Replacement for Gas Powered Chainsaws

Minor pain to install. You need the long needle nose players that are curved at the end to reach in and grab old filter and fuel line. Once you get the old one off, installing the new one is easy.

While the original filter looked relatively clean visually, it was barely allowing fuel to pass through resulting in the engine first running poorly then ultimately not running at all. Very simple and inexpensive fix. Not sure how well the aftermarket filters work compared to the OE. The original filter lasted ~15 years so no need to cheap out and gamble on the aftermarket replacement as this is a relatively inexpensive part. This filter plus a new carburetor has an otherwise good blower running like new again. Total repair cost (with carburetor) is about $20 and an hour of time vs. $150+ for a new blower.

This fit an old Poulan chainsaw we use for light-duty work around the house. Nobody locally carried it so I was happy to find it on Amazon. Easy to attache to the fuel line and tuck into the gas tank.

Here's a review with huge dolup of sarcasm: this is a filter. I took the old one out, I put the new one in. Works, just like I expected it to. Clip off approximately 1/4" of the old fuel line before installing, it will help it stay in the line. Not really sure what else to say.

My redmax leaf blower did not have a filter installed and after a year I had to disassemble and clean the carburetor because it was stalling out.I looked up the part numbers and found these to be oem fit and quality.I replaced the air filter and installed this filter. Running likenew again.

This was the exact part we needed and were unable to find. It was easy to install in our lawn blower and it has been working like new ever since.

Original one lasted 3 years. So, not bad at all for the price.

Note: The fitting is the same but the filter is smaller than the original. I do not know if it would make any difference. I did not installed. The original was still good so I left it in place. I would keep it just in case I do really need it. I do not think it is an OEM part but if fit in the hose.
