A local locksmith cut the key and I programed the key at a later date by using the old keys to program the new key.The only keys that I had were plan keys and not keyless entry key. The dealer get around $300.00 for the key and programing it. I paid $10.00 to key the key cut and programed it myself using the steps in the owner's manual.I had to do it a couple of time to get keyless entry to work. The first time I programed it would start car but youcouldn't us the keyless functions. So I reprogrammed it a second time and everything worked. I think you have to have 2 working keys to program the new key. Take you time and go through the steps like the manual tells you to and it will program.

These keys were offered at a very good price. Unfortunately the chips were apparently defective or would not work with my car even though the numbers listed should have been compatible. You have to have the keys cut before you find out the keys don't work so you are out of luck in terms of the cost of the locksmith's charges. I was able to buy from another seller and their keys worked and linked up right away to my car. It should be said however, that this seller was very reputable and refunded my money right away. Even the best companies can occasionally have a problem with their product.

Key wouldn't program. Locksmith had to replace chip.

Don’t buy this key I took it to the ford dealership to have it programmed and they were able to program it to start my carBut the lock buttons do not work

It comes apart very easily, we’ve lost the transponder a few times and had to super glue it.

The key part fits but it will not program to car.

The chip was missing or defective so the keyless entry doesn’t work.
