Toro DDCWP-2-9V Waterproof 2 Station Battery Controlled Controller

This product will actually provide more capability than I need, but it sure does what I needed. We have no power to an area that we need to water and this unit allows us to have a controllable sprinkler system in that area. Now if I can just remember to replace the batteries; actually, I setup an annual reminder. We only use one of the two stations available and found it easy to setup the sprinkling program for this station. So far we have absolutely no problems or complaints.

Update: After one year of use and after one winter, the LCD display on this controller is unreadable and unusable. Strange, given that the unit is supposed to be outside.Good controller with extensive documentation. The only downside I have seen so far is that the wiring out of the bottom of the unit comes out of individual holes in the bottom of the enclosure, so it's very challenging to see how to connect this unit to some plastic conduit or junction box outside if the unit is to be mounted on a post for example.

Easy to install and program

I have had to replace these on a frequent basis. The last time around I placed the unit in a sealed plastic bag because it seems that it is not very watertight. No use, the unit was dead in a year! May try a different brand and see how they hold up.
