difficult to install
Most youtube videos I've watched make it look easy and could be done in 30 minutes. It took me over 2 hours to get this fitted properly. Some push pins couldn't be inserted so I used 1/4-20 bolts, nuts and lockwashers to secure the chin in place - mostly near the tire well. The push pins required a larger diameter hole or the push pin wouldn't go in. And getting it mounted "just right" took quite a bit of effort. It might have been easier to get the car up on one of those garage hydraulic lifts to do this. Despite the difficulty installing it, it looks good.

Alright but not perfect. Ends are too long.
I bought this to freshen up my Mach 1. The original chin spoiler was scratched, wavy and faded. This one comes predrilled and all the holes line up perfectly without problem. Two different sets of hardware are included, one set being the factory style plastic screw pins and the other being metal bolts, washers and nylon insert lock nuts. I chose to install the metal hardware for a more secure fit, however, install takes just a little bit longer. I am happy that my mustang is one step closer to looking brand new again, but the ends are too long. They stick out about 1/4"-1/2" past the wheel wells on both ends and I had the chin spoiler perfectly lined up. I know that aftermarket chin spoilers were made longer to make up the gap from the factory chin spoilers, but these are too long and just create a gap in the other direction. My car is an original 2003 Mach 1 with no aftermarket fenders or bumper. Overall, these are ok, but not perfect. I'll have to carefully cut the ends down so they sit flush with the fenders.
