Eagle Tool USEHS37518 Installer Drill Bit, Heavy Duty High Speed, 3/8-Inch by 18-Inch, Made in the USA

This bit worked perfectly for my need. It was the right length, flexible enough, and easy to bend through the small space where I needed to drill a hole in a stud about 20 inches away from the small entrance hole. It didn't bite hard into the wood which is great, and drilled through with ease and control.

Didn’t like it for my application of drilling through a 18 inch board.

Would prefer that this company make something bigger than a 1/2” for boring under sidewalks. The fiber connector is also 1/2” so they don’t squeeze through the same hole

This still bit worked great! I used it bore through four 7" railroad ties. I had to pull it up every inch or so to clean out the boring.

Without this drill installing lighting in my vinyl Deck posts would have been a nightmare. This bit made it easy. Well made. Used it to drill down between vinyl cover and wood post in areas to low to the ground to drill from underneath. Was easier and quicker also. Should have drilled them all from the top down with this bit.

Drill bit worked as expected, drilled through 3 pairs of double joists with ease. I did sharpen the bit before drilling as it seemed to have a thick layer of plastic coating applied and did not look too sharp. The shaft is very stiff, this would not work too well for sharp bends.

Broke after one use

Decent bits. Ordered 4 of these now at different sizes.You will want to sharpen them right away as the nice black paint finish does dull the tips
