Junk! Not made for dogs
The first thing to note is that the tracking information was off with this company. It was out for delivery a couple hundred miles away from my house. After three different phone calls (amazon, entirely pets and DHL) to find out what was going on no one could explain it and I would have to wait to see if it arrived. It did arrive on the day it was supposed to.Second - I have a 20lb Jack Russell Terrier. Very energetic and CRAZY over any toy that moves. He is NOT a big chewer but he does bite hard. I knew without a doubt that he would LOVE a bumble ball and I've been looking to buy one for him for some time. I went ahead and bought the 3 pack because I figured they wouldn't last all that long (I was hoping for a month apiece) and again, there was no doubt that he would love them.I don't really regret my purchase because if I had bought one I might have thought it to be a "one time" ball with issues and maybe bought more. The story - When these arrived I opened up the first one, turned it on and we were happily playing with the ball for about 10 minutes. My dog managed to shut it off several times (just pull the button out) and every couple of minutes he would bring it back to me to turn on. It then quit working and I thought well, it could be the batteries (as it didn't seem very strong to begin with). I pulled out the second ball to play with while I went in search of batteries and it lasted about 2 minutes before it just completely quit. So, I gave him the 3rd ball and found the batteries. The 3rd ball lasted about 1 minute. So, I went in search of the screwdriver and took the ball apart. What I found - There are 2 parts to the nubs the outer rubbery part and on the inside there is a hard plastic piece that is used as a backer to hold the nub to the ball. Somehow my dog managed to get ahold of the nub just right that he pushed the harder plastic nub into the center of the ball which stops the rotation of the motor. Note here that it DOES NOT shut off the motor. The motor is still under power and will get HOT if you don't shut it off(found out the hard way with the 2nd ball). So my first experiment was to take out the hard plastic nubs and give it back. He quickly knocked out several in the first ball each time it stopped the rotation of the motor. My JRT stared impatiently at me each time as I took the 3 screws out to take apart the ball and remove the plastic nub. Several nubs later (I took it apart each time to remove the inner nub) he easily took out 3 of the outer nubs. All in all I think that experiment took about 15 minutes.Next - If you have a JRT you know they don't give up that easily if they really want to play with something. So, I brought out the second one which was HOT to touch - Still. I had double checked to make sure it was off and according to the switch on the side it was. I took it apart to find that the nub nearest the switch (which is just a simple spring type switch - push in it runs let go and it shuts off) had lodged itself holding the switch in the on position while simultaneously lodging itself in such a way that the motor would no longer rotate. Took apart the 3rd ball and again found a nub blocking the motor from turning. All three of these are currently sitting in the box waiting to see if we can find a way to "dog proof" the supposed dog version of the bumble ball. Either way, I won't be buying this brand ever again and I am going to go buy the ball made for a CAT that rotates, no, the tail won't last long but the ball itself lasted us almost a year.

Not bad for a small dog
I bought these for my Toy Poodle. I wasn't expecting them to last more than a couple weeks. They've actually held up quite well. He hasn't chewed off any of the knobs just yet but they're getting there. The workmanship could be better. One of them didn't work at first and I found that it was a plastic piece that was stuck in the motor. I wouldn't suggest these for a medium to large dog as they'd destroy these in a day or two. But for the small and toy breeds these are nice toys.

They're all right - kids like em...
I wished out of the 3 that all of them either looked the same or were all different but instead I got 2 yellows and 1 red and the red one that was the favorite because it was different only worked when it felt like it and barely had power to bounce like the other two....I replaced the batteries which was very difficult and it didn't get any bouncier.

They R ok.
Ordered these for my dog for christmas and couldn't wait so I gave one to him early. My dog is a pit/boxer mix and when he got it he was very excited. After about 1 hour the batteries that were installed in it failed. Replaced batteries and continued to have fun. 2 and a half hours later it stopped working because the ball being small and the hard plastic inner nub caved into the internal workings of the ball. Opened it and re-glued in place the nub. My dog had other plans when he started playing again. He tore the rubber nubs off the ball and I had to take it away from him. I also gave 1 of the 3 to a neighbor's dog and they said it lasted less than mine. Have one more left for christmas but I am sure it won't last long. The balls are made out of plastic and state "not for chewers" and mine does chew and has a very hard bite. If these where available with shorter nubs and all plastic they might last longer. Still it was fun to see my best friend play even if it wasn't for long.

Love them!
I buy these for my dog, they keep him entertained and put a big beautiful smile on his face. The only thing is that it is a bit difficult when it comes to changing the battery, too many smallscrews to (un-screw) and also, the batteries that it uses, too many (3). But once that's all done, for my doggy it's fun, fun, fun...for at least 15 minutes...LOL
