I bought this to replace the line in my cordless Worx GT3.020V weed trimmer. The Worx line kept melting and breaking, so I replaced the line with the Cyclone line. Works soooo much better. No more breakage! Highly recommend this product.

I'm searching for something that will give me the cleanest cut for edges on my St Augustine. This chomped right through it much easier than my OEM roundToro string, but it did leave torn edges which turn brown and ugly. I know I'm not going to get rotary scissor clean, but I expected more.If you're looking for a string that will cut very easily in medium duty situations- this might be your next best friend.I recommend you give it a try.

I have a Black & Decker edger/trimmer which I use a lot. I bought it at Home Depot for a very reasonable price. I've had it for about a year, and it always works great! Only one problem however, the replaceable spools of nylon cutting cord are way overpriced. In fact, the price for them is ridiculous. Then I found out that I could rewind the spools with generic nylon cord. Did some searching. Can you believe that this Cyclone cutting cord is actually better quality than the B&D original? No kidding! It actually lasts longer! -- The spools are very easy to rewind. Just rewind them, pop them in, and you're ready to go. -- Save yourself a lot of money buying cheaper quality OEM spools. Just rewind your spools with this nylon cutting cord. Makes sense and saves dollars.

I never knew how great my trimmer was! Or how bad my former trimmer line was? I ordered this because the brand I normally get wasn't available, and this had great reviews. People weren't kidding! I could feel the difference as I was winding this around the spindle -- it was more flexible, and the texture was different and it wasn't as stiff, which helped it lay flatter on the spindle than the round kind I used before.I know you're not supposed to use a string trimmer on pavers, but I have no choice until I replace this awful stuff. Every spring, I'm faced with what you see in the pictures. Doing those two long sections of sidewalk and the entire patio, I'd have to reload probably three or four times because of how quickly the pavers ate up the line.The day I did this, I used the trimmer on the entire front and back yard, ***THEN*** did the sidewalks and patio. I used ***ONE SPINDLE*** of this line and only had to replace it when I was on the final quarter of the patio.Also, I'd have to stop and reload or unjam the spindle at least half a dozen times when I set the trimmer to edge the sidewalks along my front yard. Not this time. Never jammed or clogged or broke once.I'm a believer. I'll never go back.

Last year I bought my 2nd Greenworks trimmer, a single line model with edging wheel. It's light and easy to use, but the string broke literally every few seconds and the cuts weren't very clean. I had to keep going over the same spots, with the string breaking literally every couple steps. I blamed the inexpensive trimmer.The last spool that came with it just ran out, and this big spool of replacement line was way cheaper than ready-made spools. I wrapped this on the empty spool in no time, and for the first time ever, edged the entire yard without a single break. The cuts were clean and quick too, no do-overs, so I finished in less than half the time. My edging has never looked this nice, and a neighbor asked what lawn service I was using. That sealed it. When I was wrapping it I could feel a major difference in this and the Greenworks string. I'll never go back as long as this is available. Highly recommend for price and performance.

I've purchased these twice. It helps keep the yard trimmed, but it does have some difficulty going through larger weeds.

Needed line that wasn't ridiculously priced and would last a season or 2 and this seems like it'll do the trick
