4 stars only because the sizing is messed up! I ordered an adult oversized life jacket and it fits about the same as an adult size small/medium on me! I'm 5'8" & while I'm not super skinny, I'm not morbidly obese either. But aside from that, it's super nice well-made it'll work well on someone that doesn't have big boobs 👍🏼(My chest measures 43" so I call BS this is for 52"+!)

My only requirements were - it should be reasonably priced and it should have a pocket (to keep a small energy bar + my car keys) as I plan on going kayaking alone. Honestly, couldn't find a single one on Amazon that met these needs. Saw this but the reviews put me off ( size issues + the shipping time). But all evidence to the contrary, this is the perfect life vest. The fitting is great as all you have to do is adjust the straps to make it tighter or lose. There is a zipper pocket big enough to fit most phones + an energy bar. It also comes with a number of free goodies like a very suspicious but generous 100$ wine voucher from Naked Wines which checks out. I guess I know what I'll be doing while waiting for my kayak to dry now. Also included was a foot powder for athletes. Honestly, Coleman is selling itself short by not branding this vest to it's true potential. Have only unboxed and tried it on. Haven't tested it yet but I suppose the point of any life vest is to hope that one never needs to actually test it. Although they give a more slower shipping date, they stick to the committed date. Bought it at 25$ (with no additional shipping) and I'm pleasantly satisfied.

i got adult oversize. Im 5ft8 217 i wear XL shirt it fit fine.. i have read a lot of reviews they do not fit?? adjust your belts people.. when they come in box they are adjusted as small as they will go.. adjust belt it should fit.. very happy with mine and the price for this vest!! plus it matches the color of my Kayak..

I bought these to replace an aging set of Stearns life vests. The previous set was 14 years old and still very functional. I wanted to update the safety equipment before it showed signs of wearing-out. These vests are built to familiar Stearns specs. I really like the color, which matched the boat interior trim and doesn't distract from fishing. I always keep the life vests accessible so they become part of the look of the boat and it is important to coordinate colors. These are NOT for waterskiing or jet skiing and there are better options available from Stearns for a canoe or wading purposes. For general boating, they are like seat belts and priced accordingly.

I am about 5' 11" and 175 lbs. The oversized vest comes down to just below my rib cage. Now way to make it tight enough so that it will not ride up. seems like a poor design to me. Plenty of room in arm area though, fine for paddling.

It's a $20 life jacket. It works. It fits. Straps are adjustable. It's short on the midsection on a 5'10" male. It is very open on the sides, and does not interfere with kayak paddling. It rubs against my neck a little, but did not chaff yet. I'd buy it again, but remember it's not a top of the line jacket. Worth $20.

Sooo... the vest was supposed to be "Adult Oversized"?? Now that we have the vest in hand it is in no way an Adult Oversized unless it's an Oversized XS. Disappointed as we needed it for this weekend and now do not have a vest to fit my Boyfriend. The vest overall seems to be good quality and because the price was great, we will keep it as an extra for big kids and small adults.

Eh, its nothing special but if you have a kid that's pretty confident in the water already this puts the check in the box for a life preserver. No rescue loop on the back, or leg straps for it so if this is going to get regular use as a flotation aid I'd probably look somewhere else. For my uses this is a 'backup/guest' vest for when someone comes to play and doesn't have one already, but I'll be buying a different style for my little guys themselves. At the time of this review it was on serious discount, and is Coleman so the material quality is pretty good so I've added another star for that and the value.

My boy is 78lbs and this fits a little small. Other than that happy with it
