It's a SwissGear, what else to expect?
I purchased this one as a gift to my dad. It's super high quality and very comfortable. The extra wide straps provide better weight distribution.It's not a big backpack, with lots of storage, but I knew that upfront and it was exactly what I was looking for.

He's tough on backpacks!
I purchased this for my 13 year old grandson. He carries it everyday and it's holding up really well. It's roomy enough for his schoolbooks and secure enough for his laptop. It's also large enough to use as an overnight or weekend bag.

Cheap fabric -- weak seams
I've owned Swiss products before and have been very pleased. This bag did NOT live up to my previous impressions and experiences. As stated by at least one other reviewer, the fabric on this bag is not heavy enough. The seam under the main zipper began to pull apart within mere weeks of normal use. In the main compartment I carry a laptop, my laptop charger & power cable, cordless mouse, a standard sized portfolio with an 8.5x11 pad in it, a couple of paperbacks at any given time in the. In the front pocket I carry a backup phone battery, a charger, a small pack of AA batteries, ear-plugs and a couple of other assorted wires, some spare change, a few pens, and some business cards. I haven't overloaded the bag. The fabric and the construction on this item are FAR below Swiss' usually higher standards of quality.
