Can this be used on cats?

First of all, pure Aloe Vera gel (processed to remove Aloin) is safe for your dog to consume. So, unlike other uninformed answers you receive here, properly processed aloe is fine for your dog. However, this particular product clearly says its formulated for dog. It doesn't specify cats. I would steer clear and look for a product that is specifically formulated for cats.

Why does this product contain neem oil? Is that an insecticide?

What are the natural flavors? What flavor is this?

The product has a neutral scent, it's more of a gel than a paste and if you get it on your hands, it transfers to whatever you touch..........my dogs do like it.

Does this product contain any alcohol?

Glycerin, aloe, pectin, neem oil, grapefruit seed extract, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), papain and natural flavors. Personally, I think this is an excellent group of ingredients. Over the years, I've had the best results using dental preparations containing grapefruit seed extract in removing tartar. I brush a little onto the teeth before I bathe or brush the dog to let it sit for a while. I then brush them with more gel and if done regularly, the tartar will start to come off.
