I was pretty skeptical, so 4 weeks ago, I bought a bunch of parsley to give it a test. Turns out to be one of my better purchases ever. The product says it can keep greens fresh for up to three weeks. Now, maybe it's because we keep our fridge a little colder, but the first image shows how that bunch looks 3 days into week 5. And yes, I'm storing it in the door. I broke down and used some a few days ago and it's still as fresh and fragrant as it was day one. Stems are still substantial and not floppy. Fragrant even when opening the case without having to bruise leaves to release it. The second image is the first time I had to cut the bottom 1/8 inch off, as well as a few leaves off because they were starting to barely brown ... and that was just TODAY. No need at all previously. If you follow the directions and change the water every 2-3 days, in a normal temp fridge, I can totally see it lasting 3 weeks or more. I'll be buying more to store other leafy fresh herbs.

Before these Prepara Herb Savors arrived, I was constantly finding myself tossing a high-percentage of my perishable herbs (cilantro, parsley, etc) into the trash bin. This bothered me because: A.) I hate to waste food and B.) It was costly. Enter the Herb Savor. Problem solved!! Just give the unit a quick wash with soap and water, dry it and decide which herbs you want to prolong the life of! Fill the water well, place the herbs in the plastic clam-shell and be prepared to be amazed at the longevity of your produce. Not a joke... it works!

Bought this for my wife. It's great for cilantro, though you have to be careful as sometimes she doesn't get to keep the product as long as other times.

This keeps my parsley and cilantro fresh for an an astonishingly long time. Sorry I didn't buy this long ago!

So I use lots of fresh herbs when I cook but none of them last much beyond 3-4 days in fridges. I recently learned some herbs do well wrapped in damp paper towels, some don’t. With this you trim end of herbs place in container which allows base of herbs to rest in water. I clean water every 2-3 days whether or not I use the herbs and my herbs (cilantro, green onions, basil, etc) last up to 7-10 days. Way more than what I was getting. If u know u r going to use ur fresh spices within a 2 week timeframe and I would recommend this!

Please don't buy. This is a great idea to solve the problem with herbs going bad quickly, but very poor design and execution. First off the container isn't big enough to hold a bunch of cilantro. Second, there is a rubber cap to hold the water in the reservoir. There is no point to this because water will spill from the item between the reservoir and container regardless. Don't buy

Shoot I missed the return window. This is plastic. I could have sworn it was glass which is what I was looking for.

I was sceptical at first but this really works!! I wish I had more space in the fridge to buy more. It's practical, fits well in a tight space, doesn't need much attention (just renew water every few days) and it keeps my herbs for weeks! Super useful, expecially in Singapore where herbs are so crazy expensive!

This a great product. I buy cilantro everyday week and this is the best way to keep your spices fresh. It’s easy to use and I recommended getting the big one.

Excellent.. it saves the herb for almost a month if u keep changing the water...amazed by it...thanks to amazon for getting it delivered yo us without any issues
