Great heel cups for children's heel pain
our 9 year old daughter needs to wear these for heel pain. These work better than the ones we bought from the orthopedic doctor. Fit well in her shoe (bought a small) and they stay in place. She loves them.

I Don't Know. Too Bulky.
Uhhh... well I haven't been able to use them much... they are pretty bulky for inserts, like the back of an actual jelly sandal or shoe... they can only be used for specific types of shoes, and I regret that I spent money on these things. At least they look kinda cool. I like bright pink.....Word of advice: DO NOT put the bottom sticky parts on a carpet with lots of dog hair on it, or anything remotely close. Everything will get stuck on the bottoms. I learned that the hard way. Make sure the bottoms are on a clean surface if you place them down on the floor. They definitely raise your height a bit, noticeably..but they're kinda hard to ignore at the same time because I couldn't get comfortable, personally... but maybe someone else could get used to it... .Some people's heels/feet may not fit well inside of these rubber molds. Overall, they are slightly wider than my feet which are on the smaller side..Yeah. That is about it. To be fair, they were too uncomfortable for me to wear, so I haven't worn them much. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars. These inserts will never fit inside snug-fitting shoes, meaning, they will make the shoes much, much tighter....Since they rise higher gradually, towards the back, if these are worn with any open sandals or shoes, you can see the inserts from the side. Some may not care.. just letting you know. They are fairly obvious, but not too loud that everyone notices.I tried to wear these in a pair of tall wedge sandals from Europe that are too large on me. I slipped these insoles in, only to realize that the skinnier width of my feet was the problem... so they didn't help. These heel inserts WILL make the back feel very tight, if it's a shoe that fits snug now, and they WILL raise your height a bit, at least 1 or 1.5 inches. As far as what they are made for, go ask someone else. Sorry. They feel like nice jelly type rubber, and they have no textures or anything. The top surface of them are just straight and smooth.

Sizing is horrible
The sizing is horrible. I was really excited for this product but having only two options for sizing is very problematic. I ordered large and sadly they're to small for my size 14 foot. I really wanted these to work but they move around in my shoes and boots and aren't very reliable. I wish the ad was more informative on this.

Should not be your first choice
Better than nothing, but a little sticky (like most silicon products) and pricey ($12.99), and it is tricky to hold them in place while you are getting your shoes on. Better choices to prevent or ease heel inflammation: Profoot Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics (only about $8 and much more helpful) or Superfeet green insoles (the best; about $28, stiff but not as uncomfortable as you might think, especially when your heel stops hurting!)
