Initial reaction was disappointment - good customer service, and have realistic expectations
Addendum. At best the original batteries did not go further than an 18 inch cut with my saw. I tested them with my very old drill and they powered the drill through a decent half day of moderate screw installation. The seller contacted me the day after my original post and offered tips that did not improve performance much, and they sent me replacement batteries.Replacements were not much better at first, but I ran them through multiple sessions of charging and I was getting about 5 minutes of intermittent use per battery in my saw, which is a high demand power unit. Good enough for the basic home demo project we were working on. I was not able to perform a continuous use test.I was a bit disconcerted that the seller uses Hot Mail for their communication, but it was legit. The basic batteries are good for home use drilling projects. The replacements were adequate for my needs and for foreseeable projects. Both pair of batteries have the same identification, so I am not sure what is different other than the original were yellow top 3800mAh and the replacements were a black finish with 4000 mAh, but both are sold as DC9096. The small increase in power made all the difference. And they were about 80% less expensive that OEM batteries. So prompt and courteous customer service and replacements that were better bump my rating up. And like other posters stated, they can be fussy to install and remove. Probably needs a light lubricant applied to resolve that.ORIGINAL POST:The batteries did not last 30 seconds in my reciprocating saw. I will try again next weekend after going through another charge cycle. If failure, I will contact the distributor. I will update my rating if they just needed a jump start of a few charge cycles (unlikely) or if they just need replacing.

Didn't work when I got them - Great customer service
UPDATED BELOWI ordered these in June and was still using my old batteries to drain them and have the new ones last longer, so I didn't use these until mid November. Charged them and the charge would last only a couple minutes, enough to cut two pieces of rebar with the reciprocating saw. They also have a terrible fit into both the charger and the reciprocating saw and Dewalt Drill. It takes me several minutes to deliberately press in the tabs and remove the batteries. When I just looked I am outside the 6 month product support window. So I am disappointed with the product and my lack of ability to do anything about it.**********The company contacted me after my review and sent me two replacements.I have not had the opportunity to use them so I can't respond to the quality but the service has been more than I expected.

mAh isn't just another nerd term
The first, and only so far, time I used a fully charged new battery in my sawsall, it lasted for less than 20 minutes. I've been told new lithium batteries need to be recharged a few times before they begin holding a full charge. I've never read this in any literature accompanying new cordless tools so I'm skeptical about this, but will give it a shot. More on this later. After recharging the new battery for the second time, I noticed the run time had increased to about 1 hour. Apparently new lithium batteries do get better when you charge them a few times.I also learned mAh refers to Milliamp hours, which are a measure of expected run time. The new batteries are rated at 3800 mAh. DeWalt does not reveal the mAh rating for its DC9096 battery. One wonders why they are keeping this a secret.I also did a weight check on the different batteries:DeWalt with secret rating: 2.38 lbThe new battery rated at 3800 mAh: 1.10 lbA different battery rated at 4000 mAh: 1.72 lbLooks like the greater the weight, the greater the mAh rating.I also want to mention the manufacturer of the new batteries read my original poor rating and expressed interest in my situation. I was even sent another set (4,000 mAh) to test and compare, which I have not yet done. These days you don't expect this kind of concern for customer satisfaction from most suppliers. I'm revising my original low rating.

Decent for the money
After my first batch of batteries came in, they were 1/3 lighter than the factory ones, and wouldn't charge above max 15 volts. The seller is great with questions and prompt replies. I explained the situation to the seller, and they gave me two choices. Either refund my money, or send out another set. I got the other set without even knowing they had done so. I'd rather have more than just my money back anyway. A+ for this seller doing the right thig and backing up what they wrote about if you had issues. Thanks!
