Great product
Been using this product for three years now after my fur baby had knee surgery and vet recommended it on a daily basis I found the price is way cheaper than the vet office. No issues with digestive I usually crush it and spread on the feed. I believe the product is helping my baby.

Life Saver!
Our oldest dog Copa is 12 and has arthritis and a tear in his rear (passenger side). He has been getting Meloxidyl daily, laser treatments of the hips and knees every 3 weeks, adequan injections every month and daily doses of tramadol pain killers (4 on good days, 6 on bad days) after 6 months of this course of treatment his healing had leveled off, Without the drugs he is in bad shape, with them he does ok and just either limps or uses 3 paws for getting around. He still wants to go for a walk everyday, still wants to hike (not gonna happen) and still loves to play with his sister and run around the yard. A friend of ours who is a retired vet recommended Duralactin. He admitted he wasn't completely sure why it worked but had seen it work wonders on dogs with similar problems. So today is 5 months and although Copa will not be hiking again anytime soon, we have no more limping, no more holding up his paw, no more trouble getting up, no heavy panting when he was in between doses, no temporary lameness when he was a few days short of his laser treatment. Just a good old dog that is getting along just fine. He still gets a few tramadol a day (mostly for our sake), we still have him on the other treatments (mostly to help our vet pay for his second home) and he still goes for laser treatments on the hips and knees, but it's about every 6 weeks now and there is no noticeable sign that he needs it or it helps. If he didn't have bad arthritis I would probably take him off everything else - but we are happy to give him the works when it comes to medical treatment in order to make sure he is with us as long as possible. I love duralactin, have recommended it to other pet owners and although it doesn't seem to make sense to us why it works - you dog will attest to the fact it does. As far as how long it takes. Copa seemed to have improvement after 30 days and every month since gets noticeably better.

Chewable Tablets
Iโve seen a noticeable difference since starting these tablets. My senior girl isnโt limping like she was. In fact Iโm not seeing a limp at all now. I had tried the chews but wasnโt happy with the results, Tablets working great. Will continue on them.

Suggest it
Never heard of this stuff until my vet suggested it for my dogs inflammation in her hind legs. I tried it but only been 2 weeks on it and seems like my little girl isn't in as much pain. It smells like vanilla so I just give it to my dog and she smells it first then eats it like candy. This product has milk protein it. Some other products do not. I would recommend.

I think this was helpful for inflammation and my dogs think they are yummy :)
As with most supplements, I'm never really sure if they are actually working, or it's all in my head (or even my dogs' heads). So I'm going to go with what I know for a fact for this review. My vet suggested we start using this for it's anti-infammatory properties. It's meant more for dogs with arthritis, but a few of mine suffer a bit from allergies and get shots every 3 months. We were hoping this medicine would help with the dogs' allergies, as well as his on/off limp for no reason, so we wouldn't have to give them so many steroids. 1. They are extremely easy to give to my dogs since they love the flavor. Heck, even I want one since they smell so good. Even Mr. Picky eats his (though it took some convincing at first). 2. It took a few weeks, but the first thing I noticed was that the limp disappeared. The poodle is back to jumping around and being his usual spry self. I'm not so sure about helping with the allergies, as it is winter and the season is over. However, I will be keeping these on hand and continuing them into the spring to see if I notice any difference with the change of the seasons. I will try to remember to update this and let people know what I find out.

The Best for My Babygirl
My Babygirl my Rottie is my best friend & has made since a complete turnaround, my vet can't believe when I tell him what She does now. She had early onset of arthritis in back legs. (Her sis sadly passed away @ only 7, from ITP.) Babygirl was only one who yelp just getting off the couch. As time went on vet said try NUPRO contains GLUCOSIMENE to help ease her pain & fish oil pills aka OMEGA 3 or I use for now COD liver pills. There was some difference, yet she still yelped but not as much. Not until her last visit I was really afraid he'd put on meds for that arthritis hip disp. Like my 17yr old beloved Niko was on it for his hips.b4 he passed on.. But the Vet said add Durlactin to the 2 others she is already on NUPRO(glucosamine) & Omega3 fish oil pills. Well wasn't till about 3 wks with 90lb dog I gave her 1 and half pills every morning with other 2 still..but wasn't till added the DURLACTIN, it took about 3 wks till I really noticed that she not just getting off couch but kinda jumping & yelp free! Unbelievable! Don't wait for your dog to start showing signs put them on all three especially the DURALACTIN for sure , GLUCOSIMENE and Omega 3 pills fish oil. I think all 3 work great together. And small dogs too especially Pugs are subseptable with issues off loss of use of back legs. after I adopted my and Baby girls 2 sis little pups,( she thinks still now at 1yr old ) that she's there real mommy dog, they play she plays with them they like running underneath her she's a fluffy Rottie I'm hoping she's got a mix in her there. But I can't tell you how beautiful it is to see her acting even younger than 8. I have to say she acts like a puppy all over again especially when running after balls or even jumps up some to catch them. Balls are only thing she'll play with every ball in the yard big ones with rope she whips bk& fourth hitting her side's by shoulders she loves it. I.never seen her play like that since 5yrs old, & she's quick too she'll run fast too chase balls you throw. In winter she goes for awhile but hotter weather like any hairy long hair little over weight dog on diet she'll run about 4 times no & youth in ystd it's too hot and goes no in her baby.pool too! She'll.jump.up a bit. to even catch a ball with no yelps or crys! If I didn't see it myself I wouldn't believe it. I do know that all 3 are best for your dogs.. But was Durlactin that got her over that hump. Not till adding the Durlactin did she totally become yelp &cry free! & acts like a puppy. Of course her 2 dwarfs helped some too.but.not without the Duractin. NO DOUBT START YOUR.PUP ON THIS B4 THEY HURT! PREVENTIVE MAINTANENCE! IS GREAT EAY TO SHOW THEM LOVE TOO! (Just wish I knew or it was out earlier) Must say Thank you, Thank you, & Thank you...So very much to the makers of Duralactin! I'd give it 10 stars if could!!๐

Bad batch, Rock hard
This bottle of Duralactin is too hard for my dog to chew. I'm afraid he's going to fracture a tooth with these tablets. They are so hard I have trouble getting a butcher knife to split them in two, despite the scored marking on them. Something is wrong with this batch because all my previous orders have not been a problem. The others were easy to break and the smell of vanilla was fresh. This current order not only is too hard, they don't smell quite right - almost a coconut-like smell and the color is more beige than the off-white color of the previous orders. To make my disappointment worse, my replacement order for this bottle was exactly the same as my first order so I'll be returning both bottles and will have to find another source. Unfortunate because I do think these help my elderly dog - not remarkably like others have experienced but I do see some improvement. *UPDATE*: I reordered once more after returning the two other bottles. This time my order was "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" versus one of the other sellers and upon delivery, saw that it was wrapped in clear plastic (unlike the other two bottles from a different seller) and the product was chewable and not hard which I was relieved to see. Will order this way in the future. I changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 - good product, not so good experience.

Seems like working
It is been a week I do see a little difference in my dog walking, he got in an accident couple years ago, now it is getting harder on his body to run and get up faster, I do give him other stuff to with Duralactin. So far looks like helping him al lot.

Early results with my dog have been good. Her overall comfort has improved
Early results with my dog have been good. Her overall comfort has improved. One Caveat for Canadian buyers -- For some reason Canada Customs held up shipment for a couple of weeks. Don't know why.

Best long-term inflamatory product we have found
Have used this for 2 senior dogs now- saw excellent results after just a few weeks - my one girl now has a bounce inher step where as before she started on this product she could barely get up and walk

We have been using this product for a little over ...
We have been using this product for a little over 5 weeks for our dog's hygromas (elbow swelling) and haven't seen a change yet. We have added the application of DMSO gel to the lumps 3 days ago to see if together the hygromas will reduce in size. We have ordered more Duralactin in the hopes it will work and from what we have read so far, it can take up to 3 months before seeing any results. Maybe by then we can rate the product higher.
