REEFSmoothy Men's Beach Flip Flop, Soft Woven Strap Made From 100% Recycled PET

Several years ago, I moved into hotter inland climates which have prolonged intensely hot summers. My work requires formal business attire. Needless to say when I get home from work, or am off for the weekend, I wear my reefs with absolute pleasure. They are extremely comfortable and will contour to your foot, to provide nice stability, keeping your foot on, or rather in the surface on the flip-flop. The tread and traction is excellent as well. They are comfortable stylish and keep your feet cool during hot weather. Everytime I put them on, I know I will be relaxin, ahhhhh, how nice. Best flip flop on the market. Have tried others, but the simplicity of the Reefs reign supreme. As far as fit goes, if you are a half size such as 9.5, get a 10, they will fit perfectly.On a side note, 6-7 years ago, Reef made a flip flop I liked even better, it had a twist to the design which I loved. Basically, instead of the nylon fabric which goes in between your toes, they had one with an extremely soft comfortable rubber which went in between your toes. It was slightly more comfortable than the nylon part, they employ in all their flip flops now, except for their all rubber ones. Another benefit of this rubber part was it kept the nylon strap elevated, so when you put your foot in, it went right in, you did not have to squiggle your toes to raise the nylon strap in order to slide your toes in and get the toes seated up against the nylon, or rather in this case the soft rubber. With this rubber part, you just put your foot in, and voila, you're off and relaxin, totally hassle free. This was not an all rubber piece that went from the toe strap and all the way to back of the flip flop forking and branching off to the rear of the flip flop where they attach to the deck rear deck of the flip flop on both sides in the rear; it was not a totally nylon-fabric free flip flop, in other words it was not all rubber like other flip flops by Reef and other manufacturers. It was a hybrid, with a rubber part that elevated the nylon straps, so you could just glide right in. It combined the best of both worlds with the convenience of the rubber part where you put your toes in, but after that nylon straps were attached to that rubber toe-piece and went back and attached to the rear deck of the flip flop. The nylon straps are more breathable than rubber and keep your feet nice and cool, while the rubber part that goes in between your toes, made them the ideal, best flip flop ever made. I hope someone from Reef comes across this review. Bring back the hybrid Reef, myself and others will buy them again and again. Also these flip flops are extremely durable. I wear the heck out of them; I mean I put serious mileage on them. I usually buy them every two years,

ORDER 2 SIZES UP. I wear an 11 but had to return them for a size 13!!! The size 13 fit the best! I'm not kidding for any dude who wants a perfect size, order TWO sizes up. You'll thank me when you do. My size 11 felt like a size 9! Great sandals and good quality, but the sizing is horrible. That's why I ordered 2 sizes up. TRUST ME. You won't regret it. These sandals run really small for a man.

Bought these for my husband as replacement for his old gross ones. He is really happy with them. Says they are the most comfortable ones he’s ever had. I’m happy they’re not gross.

These flip flops are my favorite brand because they last SO long! I had my last pair for over a decade with no issues until someone stole them at the beach! I immediately sought out another pair because these shoes are a must have for warm weather living! My only complaint is that they run VERY small. I wear a men’s 9 but had to keep exchanging them for a bigger size until finally the men’s 11 was a good fit.

I had a pair of tevas I wore for ever. They were bulletproof. Somehow I left them somewhere and needed to replace them. The Reefs were just like the tevas and that have served me wellA bit more cushy sole . I'm happy with them .

Simple nice sandals for a great discounted price. Reef has always delivered as a brand for me. When I found these on sale I have to make the purchase. They have a solid appearance and are structurally sound for my large feet.

-- 0 Star Review --I used to buy Reef because they were the best on quality. Those days are over, and I will never give Reef another chance at my wallet. These are so bad, I would rate the Wally world bargain bin higher. First, they are -- 2 SIZES TOO SMALL!! -- That's right, I wear Men's 11 and I had to return them to get 13 in these, and they still felt small. Second, they leave black all over your feet every time wear them, and it doesn't stop after wearing them awhile. Third, they are slicker than teflon when they get wet. That leads to #4, the straps are held in by some cheap-a$5 sticky tape, and they will rip right out the first time you have a good foot-slip incident. Just imagine how bad their management, design, and quality departments have to be to let these nightmares get out to the suckers who used to trust their brand. Reef made them from some kind of recycled trash for wokie tree-hugger points, but they are worthless - how are they saving the environment when they just go straight back to the landfill right after purchase? I nursed mine along for a year with superglue and nerves of steel, but I am DONE with Reef and the crap they sell now.STAY AWAY if you want some good flops, these are worse than terrible.

Have worn for years…lose them every now and then and just order the same….best. Comfy, not goofy looking….just right.
