The sauce was boiling inside the bottle upon receipt due to poor storage by the courier, it should kept in low temperatures during the delivery period because the high temperature is spoiling food stuffs. it’s unsafe and unusable.and may lead to poisoning. Also the seller is not offering refund or replacement.

I've been looking for this for a long time. Great addition to your pantry if you're planning on cooking certain Chinese dishes of course, but also if you'd like to add a burst of flavor to dishes such as smashed crispy potatoes, walnut dressings, and stir-frys.

I used thus as a quick and easy way to prepare a famous spicy Chinese Sichuan dish known as "Mapo Tofu" which consists of a ground (minced) choice of beef or chicken cooked in the chili bean sauce and when almost ready, tossed in approximately 1" x 1" cut cubes of soft to medium hard soy bean curd to simmer and soak in the bean sauce. Lee Kum Kee brands are also known for their consistency of quality and this one certainly did not disappoint.

The Lee Kum Kee chilli bean sauce is just excellent- it has all the umami flavours one yearns for and was one of the key components in the most delicious stir fried noodles I ever had. I made some shrimp noodles today, using a combination of Lee Kum Kee light soy sauce and the chilli bean sauce along with some fish sauce( Tiparos) and sesame oil (Lee Kum Kee) along with the usual other ingredients for a stir fry and it turned out heavenly. I am pretty sure I never tasted such deliciousness before...

Good quality, expected taste

Good chilli bean sauce. I used this to make Taiwanese beef noodle soup (牛肉麵) and it was tasty! Not too spicy either so kids didn't notice the spice once it was cooked in the dish.
