Great for trigger point, massage etc. Can hit spots a foam roller can't (eg. under the collar bone). Nike makes one that has a grippier surface that makes it roll more consistently, which I prefer. The coating on the SKLZ one is sort of satiny plastic, which would come in handy if you are trying slide the ball instead of rolling it, especially on carpet.

Great for hamstrings, inner thigh, glutes, and lower back. Nice step up from the softball I had been using that didn't quite push deep enough into the tissue for my preference. Not much to say beyond that - it's a ball.
