Fix Toilet Stink
It is a shame that so many of the RV factory items have to be upgraded after you purchase it. The toilet was no exception. We endured one entire season 2020 with a stink we were not able to get rid of. I changed one of the cheep Air Admittance Valves with top of the line. The bathroom, I changed the valve, I was able to actually redo the plumbing for the kitchen and connect to the grey tank real vent which goes through the roof. However, while this reduced the sewer smells, they did not go away. We tried every black tank gizmo out there, it only got worst than horrible. Plus we noticed that often we would have what appeared to be toilet water on the floor when we would setup. Based on the ratings of this toilet, we got it. I was mortified to finally find out the issue was the stock toilet, has an area which holds water from the flushing valve. The little bit of water, was collecting and turning very sour, and when too full, it would spill out while traveling. Any way, the new toilet works great, does not have the valve issues, and is taller as well as more sturdy. Would have bought the day we got the trailer if I would have known the issue and recall for the stock toilets. Ours was not recalled, they stated that issue was resolved for our model (NOT).Great toilet, well put together. Ships with new floor seal, and seat.

Very Happy Sturdy and out-performs Dometic 320 series
We replaced our original plastic Thetford toilet with the Dometic 320 w/china bowl, after reading reviews. The Dometic started slowly leaking water from the basin almost immediately. Sometimes it was OK but over time it stopped retaining water at all and you could watch it disappear before you even sat on it. We tried everything we read, even replacing the seal but nothing stopped the water from draining. Oh. The seat buffer between the seat and the bowl fell off and the lid got scratched by what we don’t know.We were impressed with the sturdiness of the Thetford Aqua- Magic Style II, as was the mobile tech that put it in. It has a sturdier base but still has the ceramic bowl. The water flow is superior for flushing and there seems to be a tighter fit to the seal so water hasn't escaped so far. It also has a soft close seat which, to me, is comfier than the Dometic which was made of wood.

Perfect RV Toilet
This was to replace our existing RV Toilet... This was the same style as came with our Camper. The high profile height is great, and the bowl is porcelain. The front mount foot pedal for flushing is placed for perfect convenience. The water flow is good and being porcelain it cleans well. This is a high end RV toilet at a really great price. It comes with everything needed ti install, even a new toilet seal. We have used this style for over 10 years and love this RV Toilet.

Nice toilet
I looked at the same toilet at the RV store, it was $150 higher there. It came in one day and was very easy to install. My only complaint is the soft shut lid doesn't work. Slams down like they used to do. I complained, but more contact from seller. I should have saved the old lid, it worked perfectly. Just be prepared if you order this one you'll need to buy a new soft close lid at Lowes or somewhere.

My second one
First lasted many years. Needed to replace parts. Knew other parts would need replacement soon so just bought new one to eliminate any additional maintenance for a long time. The only downside of this toilet is the water valve leaks after about 2 years & must be replaced. I've replaced more than I can remember. Hard to understand why manufacturer has not redesigned it.

Do Not Buy this toilet!
I needed a replacement toilet & liked the reviews on this one. Well. The one I got does Nothing as it should. When the pedal is pushed down the water makes a pretty loud hissing noise & only comes to the middle of the toilet. The water is supposed to flow out & around to the front of the bowl so the whole bowl gets flushed. The only way water gets to the front half of the bowl-ever!-is if I fill the bowl completely up with water.I contacted Amazon immediately they told me I would have to contact the company which I did-months ago!If you like a loud hissing flush & only a half bowl flush then by all means buy this toilet. Otherwise look elsewhere.Added: It’s June 6 2022. I still have heard nothing from Thetford. If you buy their toilet & it’s a poor performer too bad for you. You are stuck with it. I like the style & overall design of this toilet. It just DOES NOT work like the videos & like they say it does. But it’s pretty obvious they will DO NOTHING to make it right. I should of ordered the ceramic dometic toilet. I will next time.

Nice upgraded toilet but forget the seat!
The toilet is definitely an upgrade to the cheap commodes installed in most motor homes. Good height. Nice finish. Appears to be easy to clean. However, with that said, they should either upgrade the toile seat the comes with it or sell it without a seat altogether and lower the price. The one that’s included is junk. TIP: If you decide to upgrade the toilet seat - get it and put it on BEFORE you install the toilet. Depending on how much room you have behind the commode, replacing the seat will take longer than actually installing the new toilet if you decide to do it afterward.
