Surpars House Mini Style 1-Light Flush Mount Crystal Chandelier

PLEASE SEE EDIT AT BOTTOM TO SEE WHY I LOWERED RATING FROM FOUR STARS TO ONE:We replaced an old-school standard builder's light fixture in the bedroom hallway between my closet and bathroom, which then leads into my bedroom. It's a drop ceiling at that part of the hallway, about 7 feet and 3/4" instead of standard 8" ceiling (air duct runs under there). My husband, who is 6 feet tall, can walk under this fixture without it hitting the top of his head.I looked through all the pictures other people posted before I decided to buy it. It was less expensive than replacement fixtures I saw at the big box home improvement stores as well as specialty local stores, and looked just as nice/or even better, so I went for it.I do LOVE this much better than the old school fixture. I think I need to replace the kind of bulb I'm using, though, because I can see so much of it. Other people have bulbs that are not as visible in their pictures. I am using an LED candelabra bulb for this, but it seems that the chains that drop from the fixture don't provide enough coverage/density for that bulb. An LED candelabra bulb is really bright for this, so if you're concerned that it won't light up a closet or hallway, stop worrying about that because it'll be fine. This is even where we have walls *and* ceiling painted gray, so the bright/dim factor does not even factor into this.As far as putting it together. . .if you're not good putting those little hoops on keychains, you are going to have a challenge putting these on. However, once you get the hang of it, it goes on pretty easily. The chains are heavy, the glass balls at the end are heavy, They throw light beautifully with a lot of sparkle.We've had it up for a few weeks. We replaced it ourselves. It is a beautiful piece and looks so much more expensive than it is.EDIT:We went to change the light bulb because the one I have, while still being a candelabra bulb, is longer than I'd like. I found a smaller candelabra bulb that was not as long as the first one we put up, which would then help with the "density" issue I was having re: how much of the bulb was visible through all the crystals. However, the electrical base that holds the bulb SHORTED OUT. We ended up dismantling the entire lamp to see what happened. At first, we thought the new light bulb just blew, and checked it by putting the old light bulb back in, but no; it was the base. We ended up taking the fixture halfway down from the ceiling so we could test the wires with the volt meter. There is nothing wrong with the power supply, because switching the light switch on/off still turns the power on/off to the fixture per the volt meter. It's the base itself that holds the bulb. I could not find a way to contact the seller, so I contacted Amazon about it to see if I could just get a replacement base part since sending the whole thing back would be a pain. I do have concerns that OTHER BUYERS of this fixture may have issues with the bulb base, too, and not know what the deal is if they don't have a volt meter to check it like we do. So now I have it sitting up there and I have ordered a replacement fixture from another company.SECOND EDIT: I came back to add the picture of the shorted out circuit, and I see that other people have had this same problem. Seems that if you screw in the bulb even just a smidge too tightly, you will damage the socket. That's not good.

Absolutely gorgeous and looks very expensive! Bought this for my daughters room and it is the perfect size and fit for her theme. Easy to put together (the crystals and balls are not attached so you have to put them on the unit, but the strands are already together). Very easy install as well. No conversions needed. Uses a 40W chandelier bulb (got a triple pack at a hardware store for $8). Shipping was amazing as usual! Ordered on Monday morning, received on Tuesday afternoon.

I ordered this for my daughter's bathroom and was a little skeptical, but we just finished putting it up and I'm actually quite pleased. It is exactly what we needed for the look/feel she was going for and is the perfect size for her small bathroom. It was a little tedious to put together (no instructions) but we figured it out...you just have to attach each crystal ball to each strand of smaller crystals, longer strands in the middle and shorter on the outside. The large crystals on the ends are heavy and feel like real glass/crystal whereas the small crystals on the hanging strands appear to be plastic. They all sparkle quite a bit though, it is really very pretty. An E12 chandelier type bulb works fine in it (40 watt max). I took a picture standing further back so folks can get an idea of scale. Very happy with this purchase!

This is the cutest little chandelier we got to put in my 5 year old step-daughter's bedroom when we bought a new house. It was simple for my husband to install and easy to assemble. Just took a little time and patience. Make sure you assemble it before putting it on the ceiling. I got it all put together and there was one end ball missing but I had 2 extra strings. Emailed the seller and they mailed out 2 more end balls at no charge. Once those came, now I can't find the extra strings. I offered to pay for a couple more to be sent out and they offered to send me a couple extra on their dime! They are very responsive and I'm very impressed with them. The product is perfect and will probably buy another one for our walk-in closet. My step-daugher loves her fancy little chandelier. Thank you!!

U read reviews, search for details hoping to make the most informed decision U can and then just hope U made a good call. Well if U stopped here...U did. This fixture is a great value, she looks lovely dressed in all her sparklin glory!Shipping as always was spot on, packaged well, the assembly quite easy & sequential despite the not so good directions, truly most will not find it frustrating at all. I fully assembled in bout 30 mins. including several pauses for the other life demands. My husband has not installed yet but their perfect for my walk-N closet in our new house. I purchased round E-12 60W LED bulbs.Now 2 tips I think are useful: if U have thin plastic gloves wear them. U handle base a lot putting crystals on these will eliminate fingerprints. 2nd is best as U can see in pix. I have set both lights on a stand till hes ready 2 hang. Get mty 16oz water bottle set it in plastic cup & fit bulb socket over mouth waterbottle...Perfect! Note I tried 3 other water company bottles, yes buy lot bottled water, the only one that worked Aquafina, the others crushed N middle. They must have higher plastic content N their bottles.

Socket for light broke after 3 days. Had to go to Home Depot's and buy two parts for about 7 dollars to fix it myself. Other than that the light looks stunning. I would advise be careful when screwing the light bulb in, when it slightly starts getting tight just stop. I barely turned it tight and it snapped

Very beautiful and simpler assembly comparing to those having more crystals. I used in for second floor hallway between a bathroom and master bedroom door. I matched this with the nearby big chandelier over the stairs. My husband likes it very much.

I bought two of these chandeliers and they look great. Actually they produce a lot of light. Not too difficult to assemble. I needed help with the install with a neighbor handy with wiring and no problem with assembly. The instructions are straightforward. The lamps have been up for three weeks and are shining brightly. Beautiful rainbows on the ceiling. These lamps are manufactured in China. We looked for US/CDN certification standards, did not find, would be good to have included certification compliance for North American market. I am enjoying the new lighting.

I put this light up in my baby girls bedroom. It was incredibly easy(and kinda fun) to assemble all the crystals and then attach them to the fixture. Very easy to hang. This was my first time ever attempting something of the sort. But even a girl can hang a new light fixture! It uses a small bulb so it's not too bright. But it is just absolutely stunning when it is on. My daughter just stares and stares at it. A lovely piece for such an affordable price! Would buy again.

Hard to connect all the tiny key chain style hoops on each strand to fixture and the ball at the end of strands with long fake nails, but I did it in about 40 mins. I'm over the moon happy with the quality and extra parts, real glass and real metal. Perfect glam for my rental's front door.
