After one year, looks good, no warpage.
I like everything about this cutting board. After one year, it shows no evidence of warping or cupping. You can see knife marks in the surface, but they are shallow. The wood feels relatively soft to the knife blade when you’re cutting through vegetables or meat, so I believe it is helping to preserve the sharpness of my knife blades. A year ago when I bought it, I expected I would be putting it through the planer to resurface it by now, but the knife marks in the surface are visible, but faint, and I see no need to refinish it yet. For its thickness, the wood is quite lightweight, easy to handle in the kitchen. It is by far the best of about six or eight plastic, wood, and bamboo cutting boards in our kitchen. Highly recommended.

I am in love
I did sooooooo much research on cutting boards. Wanted something clean, nontoxic, and durable. I haven't had these for too long, but they're the best cutting boards I've had so far. It's easy to take care of, I follow the directions, make sure to put mineral oil on it after I use it a lot, don't soak it in water, go easy with the dish soap, don't scrub too hard. I also use one for meat and one for veggies, to stay extra safe.P.S. It smells SOOOO good. Like a fresh forest. I never thought I'd be sniffing my cutting boards, but now I do.

The board is a pleasure to cut on. Yeah
I love this board. I use this board every day at the restaurant I work at. I decided to bring my own board because of my expensive Japanese knives and the boards at my work are bamboo which are too hard for the edges. Not to mention they would all get snatched up by co workers during the shift. This board is perfect for my everyday prep and I use it a lot. Feels super smooth to cut on and I’m always excited to start prepping. I did make a huge mistake though by taking the board back n forth from work to home. Mostly because the people at my work can be careless and I didn’t want anything to happen to it. The problem is I didn’t let the wood adapt to one environment. It’s hot and humid at work and a lot cooler at my house. The other morning I noticed a couple hairline cracks in the side of the board and was super bummed. I currently am fixing the issue with tight bond 3 wood glue. At least I hope. The cracks are completely my fault but from now on I will continue to keep the board at work where I mostly will be using it. If it fails me then I can only blame myself. If the glue does not work then I will most likely purchase another one because I love this board. Definitely recommend just don’t change the environment or temperature like I did.

Didn’t like the aroma / smell
I do like that this is a one piece no glue no joint cutting board and that it’s light weight compared to other cutting boards of similar size. However, the aroma / smell (presumably from the Cypress wood itself) is strong and not something that I liked.

Love it, gentle on Japanese knives
Smells good but if you are planning on chopping onions, the bamboo smell will fade. I see discoloration from onion, tomatoes, cheese, oil and more. What I like about it is, it’s extremely delicate and my Japanese knives love it. It’s one block not joined. I would highly recommend, specially if you have Japanese high end knives.

Good but not great
It's a good single board (no glue) cutting board. It's not a hardwood, so expect deep cuts and expect that it might curl a little if it gets too wet. Mine curled just a tiny bit, but that's the weak point of single board cutting boards - unless it's a hardwood, it will almost assuredly bow a tiny bit at best. Thankfully mine bowed in a way that allows it not to rock back and forth and it's not noticeable when cutting. I bought it as an in between cutting board until I can get a good sturdy hardwood board.

I love this cutting board!!!
This cutting board is everything it says it is! It's non-toxic, one solid piece of wood with no glue or coating. It is beautiful and purposeful. We love it and ordered a 2nd one. We soon may get a 3rd one.

Worthy every penny!
I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of this board. One solid piece of wood, flat and that great cypress scent. Perfect softness for my edge retention on my Japanese knives. I would not hesitate on recommended it!

Bisher sehr zufrieden
