Very sturdy and basic enough for my young grand daughter to play with her Barbie dolls. Most of the furniture pieces are wood so will stand up to use. There are no tiny pieces to get lost and just enough furniture for her doll to "live comfortably". KidKraft also included a strap to anchor the house to the wall so it can't tip over as it is pretty weighty (it's all wood) and could easily topple. I'm very pleased with this product and am sure it will out last my grand daughter so that another child will enjoy it.
