Lovely, fresh fragrance without the tres cher price
I bought it just because I really like the original Cabotine de Gres*, and it was cheap enough to blind buy (I usually don't), and I have a tiny little perfumista thing going.... so I was delighted to find that this is a wonderful daily wear and will be esp perfect for summer. First sprinkle, and it reminded me so much of J'Adore. If you like J'Adore and it works for you, think of this as the lighter, younger cousin- tres cher without being tres cher. Perfect for travel (in case you break it or lose it or leave it), too. *For those who are confused by the different Cabotines - the "de Grès" is the first of the Cabotines from the Grès house. It is truly a green fragrance, chypre/aldehydes in play. I find it's an either love/or not fragrance. I love to wear it, but I usually reserve it for times when I don't plan to be around those who might not. The flankers - rose, gold, aquarelle, etc. - came after the original.

Good fragrance but doesn’t last on the skin
It is a fresh floral fragrance with a slight sweetness. It smells different flowers and the roses are there of course. I spray at night before bed because it doesn't last on the skin and I like the smell.
