Works, kind of.
The instructions are horrible. The pictures I found on Amazon by another buyer were helpful. I had to get the intel manual to verify all the connections were correct before powering on. When I powered up the computer it found an unknown USB-CEC device and could not download a driver. There was no driver cd. I was able to find a driver on the Pulse8 Website. I have had a hell of a time configuring Kodi correctly. I tried the software from pulse8 but it would never launch Kodi. If found a forum post that linked to a cec.dll that made things start working somewhat. I am still having issues where if Kodi crashes or I press the power button on the remote it acts all wonky and not as expected. I suppose with additional 8 hours of configuration and research I will be able to get it working...hopefully. I think it is a little pricey for a chip, but still happy to have found it.Edit: 16 more hours of messing with it and it still doesn't work right. No support from the company. Probably should return it.UPDATE: STILL NOT WORKING. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK

Works
Initial Review: I just received the package today.Works on Intel® NUC Board D34010WYB board and probably the I5 version (I just don't feel like taking it apart just yet). There was very little documentation on how to hook it up but I found a couple helpful images on Amazon.fr and http://www.chiriac.ro/2016/02/05/intel-nuc-xbmc-cu-hdmi-cec/. They were not in English but looking at the pictures I was able to figure out how to get it hooked up. I have only tested on openelec 6.0.3 but will test it on Windows 7/10, Lubuntu and Linux Mint 17 this weekend. The external version looks like it might be easier to hook up but not in the budget right now to try.

Not worth it
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. It isn't user friendly and the support does not exist. Even the installation instructions was horrible. You are better off purchasing a harmony remote.
