UPDATE!! (3/15/22)
These nasal filters are great! As someone who suffers from allergies, I keep these in my purse ready for cleaning, yard work, or any project that puts me into contact with an allergen.. They are easy to put on, discreet and convenient to carry around! They also stay in place perfectly until I remove them. I suggest ordering large only though because I accidentally ordered size small one time and they seemed to restrict my airflow.. but I've never had that problem with the larger size. I think the smaller ones are just for kids. They claim that these help 'alleviate respiratory suffering by comfortably filtering inhaled air and removing airborne germs, allergens and/or noxious particles'- knowing that makes me feel better to use these when viruses are going around and during flu season..A wonderful article I read (g16, No.6) gave some great precautions to take to prevent spread of diseases. It mentioned these suggestions below...'Do not share personal items, such as razors, toothbrushes, or towels..... And do not underestimate the benefits of washing your hands thoroughly and frequently. It is perhaps the most effective way you can stop the spread of infection. If possible, stay home when you are sick... cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve, but not into your hands. An ancient proverb states: “The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself.” (Proverbs 22:3) How true are those words today in a world plagued with potentially dangerous diseases! So inform yourself by consulting local health services, and conceal yourself from danger by practicing good hygiene. Bolster your defenses, and reduce the risk of disease!'Such great suggestions!!!UPDATE:(6/10/21)I still like using these nasal filters although I do wish they were a little cheaper🙂 Also, I've noticed with the last ones I've received that it itches alot around where the nasal strips stick to my nostrils.. I'm not sure if it's the glue causing the itching or what. But maybe my skin is just real sensitive to the glue being used.. 😏 they might not affect your skin though so worth trying it out👍🙂UPDATE (3/15/22)I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BUYING A LARGER SIZE THAN YOUR NOSTRILS BECAUSE WHEN I ORDERED THE SMALLER SIZE NASAL SCREENS THEY DO RESTRICT SOME OF MY AIR FLOW.. BUT ANYTIME I USE THE SIZE 'LARGE' I SEEM TO HAVE GREAT AIRFLOW.Hope this helps you😊👍

Work great for allergies
These adhesive nasal filters eliminate my allergy sysmtoms while I'm wearing them. The filter is an oval shaped, paper thin, gauze-like screen with a band-aid type adhesive ring around the outside. The adhesive ring is applied to the outside of each nostril and forms an airtight seal that stays in place while active. They are kind of tricky to get on just right and you want to try to get them on correctly with your first try. Otherwise, if you need to re-position them, they loose some of the stickiness and don't stay on as well. I tried to reuse them once and they just loose too much adhesion to use effectively a second time.In my opinion, they are way too expensive for what they appear to be, basically a small, breathable, circular band-aid. However, they work extremely well for their intended use, so I compromised. I only use these filters when I will be outside for a long period of time or in very high pollen/dusty areas. All other times I use the WoodyKnows Ultra Breathable removable nasal filter that fits just inside your nostrils. Here is my comparison of the two types of nasal filters:- These adhesive screens take a mirror to get on, every time. The removable filters are easy (with a few days practice/experimentation) to pop in and out and come with a small, plastic container.- I use the removable filters whenever I'm going outside for a smaller amount of time (ride a bike, water the garden, play with the kids) because they only take me 10 seconds to put in and position. These adhesive screens take several minutes and a mirror to do right. However, if I am going to be outside for over an hour, cutting/trimming the grass or in a high pollen/allergen area, I'll use the adhesive screens because they filter 100% and stay in place, as long as they are on. The removable filters, in my experience, filter about 70%, on average, since they move around and need to be adjusted back into place sometimes, so unfiltered air gets through in small amounts.- These adhesive filters stay in place and are always sealed to the outside of your nose, so there are never any gaps or question about whether they are letting in any unfiltered air. It is hard to tell if you have the removable filters in place correctly to filter all of the air coming into your nose. There are times when it feels right and I look in the mirror an there is a gap on one of the sides.- I also use the removable filters when I'm going out in public, since they are not as noticeable as these adhesive filters, which are very obvious and look really weird.- The price of the removable filters, compared to these adhesive filters, is MUCH cheaper per use. So I try to use these adhesive filters sparingly, when I need the "heavy duty" protection and the removables in most other situations.- These adhesive filters are only a single use, though I tried to reuse them once. The adhesive looses it's grip after being worn once and does not seal well the second time. I figure you get about a month's use with the removable filters (by taking care of them and washing them per the instructions).- Both filters feel strange to have on, even after getting used to them. They are not uncomfortable, but you know that they are there.- The removable filters that I use let more air through, so breathing is completely normal. These adhesive screens let in less air, which is probably a combination of finer screen and an airtight seal. However with both types of filters, I never felt the need to breath through my mouth due to lack of airflow through the filters, even while running or biking.I am very pleased with the filters themselves. The sizing instructions worked for me and they fit nicely. They are not the complete solution to my allergies but are one of the pieces that keep me feeling good from April to October. I've also used them while woodworking and they are much nicer to use than a mask for dust. I will probably keep buying them, even though I feel the pricing is high. Hopefully some good alternative will appear and help drive the price down to something more in line with what you are actually getting, specialized band-aids.
