Google SketchUp for Interior Design and Space Planning: Training Course 4. How to communicate your ideas in a convincing way

Never having worked with this before, I was hesitant to buy any book that wasn't geared to An Interior Designer. When I found Adriana Granados' set I snapped them up. Best and easiest way to learn SketchUp 8 - even the Pro version. Everything is laid out in steps, so you move right through it learning all the tools and such.I purchased all four of her books.in order to get a good grounding in SketchUp

Easy to follow lessons, picture examples and explanations of how each tool operates. I normally work on Autocad and have enjoyed learning an additional way to present my designs.

Very glad I didn't order the first book. If you have worked your way through even 1/8th of Sketchup for Dummies by Chopra, don't bother with this. I have no idea if the higher numbered books are better.

Very helpful in getting you up and running with interior design drawings. This author understands Sketch Up and what interior designers need.

After completing all 4 books in this series, I now know my way around Sketchup well enough to complete presentation-quality drawings. I don't consider myself a Sketchup 'master' but know where to look, and how to solve problems in multiple ways fearlessly [love that "Undo" button!]. I'm a student of Interior Design and enjoy hand-drawing, but had to learn some sort of computer-aided drawing program in a hurry. Adriana's four books are a MUST and I'm glad I found them. Her exercises are practical, and even if you're not in the Interior Design field, you will know how to use the SketchUp tools when you're done. Whether you're a pc or mac user, the visuals and written instructions are easy to follow. All 4 books were an excellent value for the skills gained!

Ein Buch mit Seminar-Feeling. Kein Wunder, stammt es auch aus einer Hochschule. Angenehm ausführlich. Da müsste eigentlich jeder zum Ziel kommen. Gut wäre, wenn es noch mehr Fortsetzungsbände gäbe. Das Level dürfte ruhig etwas höher sein. Aber es gibt trotzdem genug, was man *mitnehmen kann*.

Must go for it.... Highly Recommended
