Fantastic reference system. It's different than normal study bibles but a very cool and different way to describe more on what's going on in a verse. The font isn't too small but not gigantic. In regards to the paper thinness, it's not the thinnest and doesn't seem like it would rip easy.

Awesome study Bible. I highly recommend it to any level bible student. This is the very first study bible I ever owned 23 years ago when I had no bible knowledge at all.

Beautiful Bible, words of Jesus in red. Cover is real leather. Wish the letters were a bit bigger but still a great Bible. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The Thompson chain reference Bible in Black genuine leather with thumb index is the most beautiful book I have ever owned. The quality of this Bible is evident in every little detail. Thompson has a unique reference system that I really like and it doesn't add someones perspective in commentary. I wanted a good study Bible in the NASB version for home and church and this is a great one.

I have the King James 1611 Authorized Version in a Thompson Chain Reference. This New American Standard Thompson Chain Reference also has an outstanding Archaeological section and maps. Sewn Bindings, Words of Christ in red and Thumb indexed. Follows the tradition of the King James Bible, but in an Updated Western English Language. Excelent BibleWORD.

Excellent, no distractions from the Word due to extensive commentaries found in other study bibles.

This is the best Bible I have ever bought. It is the NASB text that was before their 1995 revision. It has better charts and maps and study helps than any other Bible I've seen. Love it!
