Can you use it with your toe nails painted,or do your nails need to be polish free?

I think it would be MUCH more effective if it was applied directly for the full surface of the nail, including under from exposed edge. I don't think it would saturate through the polish. But I am not an expert.

Does it soften toenails for cutting ?

It softens hard skin everywhere. Say goodbye to ingrown toenails. Does it soften nails? I don't have that issue so I cannot honestly answer. But my toenails look and feel better than ever. Be diligent. Apply after every shower. I also bought the cream to rub into calluses and cracked heels. This urea is amazing.

Is there a difference between 40% and 50%? My podiatrist suggested 50% and I ordered 40% by mistake? Thanks
