The Perfect Diaper Bag
I spent hours searching for a messenger type diaper bag and decided to give this a try. I love it!It holds everything I need, and sits comfortably across my back. It is so much easier than a big bulky purse diaper bag when I'm chasing my 3 year old! Because of the buckle, I can easily hook it to my stroller, too.The front pockets are small- I keep a pacifier and a mini hand sanitizer in those. My iPhone 5c can fit in the top pocket but it doesn't close. I usually just tuck it into one of the big pockets or my pants pocket instead. There are two interior pockets. One is large and the other is smallish. I keep my wallet in the small one, and cram the other one full of all my mom stuff. I only like to take the bare essentials, so if you are a "kitchen sink" type, you might want to stick to a giant purse. What I can fit:Pack of wipes2-4 diapers2 burp clothsNursing coverSnacksSippy cupA couple baby toysKeys, phone, wallet

Updating my review to 5 star after my vacation. This ended up being the perfect Disney daypack. It had enough room for the essentials, but was small enough that I wasn't tempted to pack non-essentials (if you know what I mean). I found that I could carry on my left shoulder or crossbody, which gave me an option when one side wore out. I've now switched it to be my commuter tote. I can carry my lunch, a small knitting project, my iPod, Kindle and a water bottle very comfortably. And it fits easily on my shoulder with my regular purse. Colors seem to be staying, so far. Hope it stays bright and kicky for a good long time!-----------------------------I'm going to give this a provisional 4 star rating, but it could go higher if it holds up well on vacation (which was the reason for purchase). The colors are really vibrant and happy. Seems to be very well-made and organized for convenience with a good number of pockets. I like the way it fits (but I'm a little taller for a woman (5'8") and it might be a little overwhelming on someone petite). Really like the rope strap; looks stylish and utilitarian at the same time - which I find fun.

Great for the Left-Handed, Right-Handed not so much
I love the pattern on this bag and couldn't resist trying it out! I was hoping it could be a replacement for a larger back-pack for me.The Pros: It fit everything I usually carry, wallet, cosmetic case, small gadget pouch, multiple sets of keys, cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) in a Trident Aegis case (the lower outside pocket worked fine for it.) My Kindle or Fire 8 fit fine. I stuck a collapsible umbrella in and it fit, too. It holds an amazing amount. A trade paperback or a hardcover I'm sure would fit as well. The canvas fabric seems sturdy but not stiff. I would not use it in the rain, though. The Cons: I cannot hang it off my right shoulder, only my left. If I want to carry it on my back, the strap has to be on my right shoulder which feels weird. If you want to pull it around under your left arm to take something out of the larger main compartment it works ok, but the smaller compartment isn't accessible because everything in it would fall out. So I guess you take it off to get to that stuff? It just seems really awkward to me. Also, because it's canvas and rope it doesn't slide easily around. Probably the polyester Sling Bag version would work better for that, but it's also only left- oriented, unfortunately.I think I will be returning this bag. My Ameribag HBB holds just as much and is usable on either shoulder.

More colors needed for the vinyl ones!
I bought this instead of a fanny pack for touring as I knew souvenirs wouldn't fit in the fanny pack. The pattern and color is outstanding! I wanted the polyester one instead of canvas for its water resistance but they don't have that one in as many pretty patterns and colors so I got this and scotchguarded it with zero issues. The rope straps are thick and very well made compared to a knockoff brand I have. Pictured is the El Paso pattern Kavu with the knock-off "Ambry" brand which has slightly more room, more padding on the back, a softer feel but lesser quality rope for the straps. They were already fraying upon arrival in a few spots but it cost half of the Kavu so gave it a try.

Awesome backpack/purse
I love this bag! I bought this primarily to use while my husband has surgery and I'll be staying at the hospital. But now that it's here, I'm sure I'll use it for an everyday purse. The larger pocket on the outside holds my iPhone 6+, AND a pack of cigarettes with lighter. The smaller pocket holds my keys. The two zipper pockets are roomy. I have my large billfold and checkbook in the smaller side, and miscellaneous stuff in the larger side. I plan on putting my 8" Kindle in there when needed.I also plan to scotchguard the bag to help keep it clean. I wear the bag on my left shoulder (not cross body) and it's very comfortable. I'm sure I'll be buying this bag in another color.
