Works great for the UV-9R and similar radios (with the screw in connection method)
I bought a baofeng UV-9R waterproof ham radio. I have several UV-5R radios. The CHIRP connection cable for the UV-5R has male prongs that plug into the radio. The UV-9R has a flat/screw in connection for the CHIRP connector wire. This connection wire I purchased and am reviewing is for the UV-9R and similar radios. It works great and has a screw in positive connection. No issues. Very happy and a reasonable price.

it worked
The first one I received did not work, it did not connect to the radio correctly. I contacted the seller and they were very quick and helpful. They shipped a new cable out. It looked just a bit differently, but it worked and connected to UVR9plus radios. I got them programmed in a moment.

Worked right out the package
Attatc6hung this to the radio. First, you need a flat screwdriver to remove the cover. Then you need a small Phillips to attach the program cable. Programming was simple. Then you need to reverse the procedure. Its not a show stopper, just a pain in the rear because if the radio design. This cable makes a good connection. Thank goodness, the small screw does not fall out when taking it off. I have 40 radios to program.
