This motor is exactly like the OEM at a fraction of the cost. The unit was easy to install once you get the blower wheel off of it.

I replaced the motor because at first the dryer would shut off after 30 seconds while on the 'timed dry' setting but would work fine on the 'moisture sense' setting. That lasted for about 1 month and then it would shut off on all settings. Fairly easy to replace. The new motor fit perfectly. I also replaced the belt, belt idler/tension pulley, and all 4 drum rollers while I had the machine apart. Make sure to clean out all the lint from the dryer as well as the duct that exits your house. If your duct is really dirty or it is the cheap flexible duct, just replace it with the correct style duct. That cheap flexible stuff is outlawed in many places.

When our motor went out I had to decide to fix it or replace the motor. I'm glad I fixed it, this motor worked perfect! I replaced the 4 drum rollers, belt and tensioner when I did the motor and I'm glad I did because they were about shot. I waited about a month to write this review and so far it's running perfect. The thing runs so quiet now! Overall a great buy, I'll update the review if I have an issue with it.

It came quickly and fit perfect. I do not know if it if it is a good value for the money or if it is good quality. Only time will tell that. My suggestion is that you reword your leading questions as no one would know the honest answers to them 3 to 5 years from date of install.

I had an intermittent issue with my dryer stopping before cycle was complete. The dryer would stop without chiming and shut itself off. After a long search online and dealing with high prices of a troubleshooting with a local repairman, I decided to purchase a motor. It was a bit of a gamble but at this price, it was a cheaper, faster and less intrusive option. This is a must if you plan to keep these troublesome samsung dryers for longer than a decade.Maybe think about doing the belt tensioner and heating element at the same time to save you the headache of opening your dryer three times.

I looked at all the offers for this item on Amazon and one had all the dryers listed it was compatible with so that’s the site I ordered from. It was the middle priced one at $139. It arrived super fast. I’m so glad we decided to give this a try instead of spending the money to replace it. Works like new.

Dryer kept starting and stopping. Also smelt burning. Unplugged the unit once it stopped again and felt the motor. It was burning hot, which confirmed my suspicions.Ordered a motor from these guys and it fit perfect and works great.Also….buy a new belt and rollers if you’re going to replace the motor. It’s fairly cheap and worth it. You don’t want to take it apart again.Very easy to do on your own.

2 loads done very quit and no issues... The old motor had deformed motor mounts, guessing thats why it failed. 4 stars....5 stars in 5 years from now if it's working
