Mil-Tec Us Assault Pack Unisex Military Backpack

Comfortable, well made and rugged.
These packs are incredibly useful indeed. I served 10 years in the armed forces and whilst the updated/improved PLCE webbing systems were becoming more widely available to us, additional modular kit like this with the PALS/MOLLE system would have been an absolute game changer and made life a hell of a lot easier!! The PALS webbing and the straps on the back of the modular pouches are a little fiddly to weave correctly, but once in place they're sturdy and reliable. This kit isn't just ideal for military or police, cadets, etc., etc., it has countless other uses whether that may be professionally or recreationally. The external straps (with quick release clips) tightens the exterior of the pack right down onto the contents within, (think of the pack as an accordion, the looser these straps the wider the pack can open out and expand, and vice versa); This helps to keep the profile as low as possible and it stops anything inside shifting around meaning there's no weight actively swinging around when you're on the move that can cause discomfort. The shoulder and waist straps are well padded and are very comfortable, as is the pack itself, (which also has an area of padding for your back). There's no sternum strap, but the shoulder pads are specifically shaped and are rigid enough that it's not really needed on such a small pack, especially with a waist strap too, (if necessary you can add an aftermarket strap however). Whilst I'll never be using it for the purpose, there's room for a decent sized water bladder (roughly 2 L) which has an external pocket and sits between the back padding and the exterior wall of the main compartment. For those that don't like water bladders, simply purchase 1 or 2 MOLLE water bottle/flask pouches and attach them wherever you prefer externally or carry in main compartment. The smaller external compartments are also handy to keep certain smaller items separate but this does come at the cost of a small loss of overall capacity to the main compartments. However, the pack has plenty of PALS webbing on the back and sides to add on a variety of MOLLE pouches/accessories as required. There are some additional zipped pockets, mesh pockets and dividers inside, as well as some pen/pencil dividers. They are well made, I've subjected mine to levels of tests and abuse that it'll never actually be relied upon to perform and absolutely nothing has ever given way or torn. Decent quality zips and quick release clips, and a well thought out design in general. Excellent finish too, they do look good. Ideal as a day pack or a light overnight bag, etc., etc. You can fit more in them than you may initially realise and there is the ability to attach various types of MOLLE pouches to add more carrying capacity too. Otherwise, internal space is still quite restricted IMHO. If you know you'll frequently need some additional capacity, you're uncertain if a 20 L pack will actually be large enough, or often need to carry extra items with you than others (for whatever reason), you may be better off with the slightly larger 36 L version, (remembering that you can also adjust them in the same manner as described above to control the overall size once packed).*** Newer versions have laser cut attachment slots directly into the outer material rather than the ladder webbing being stitched on externally. The weight this saves would be marginal to unnoticeable on a pack of this size and the good thing about the external ladder webbing is you can easily feed all sorts of other items through the loops for external storage in addition to the modular kit. ***. Either way, these packs can be incredibly useful for anyone for a variety of purposes. Definitely recommended. 5/5.

Good design, good price
I bought this as a replacement for an identical pack that had lasted me 3+ years: that shows how good I think it is.Likes:1) the 4 pockets allow me to separate out papers, laptop, chargers and other stuff, and then find them all easily.2) the Small size is big enough for any resonable amount of books etc: I have tried the Large and, if filled, would be massively heavy!3) its not waterproof, but its good enough for all but sustained rain/monsoon.Dislikes:1) my last pack gave out at the main zip, probably because I put too much stress on it pulling the zippers.

Exactly right, so many features !
This is precisely what I wanted. A good size for day trips, so many organising pockets/pouches inside each compartment. Very well made in a water resistant, tough cordura ( I think) fabric and a wide choice of colours. Advertised at 20 litres, the extra front pockets and sub dividers mean it’s really more like 25-30 in its useful space. Mille pouches and accessories can be easily added to make a 3-4 day / long weekend pack. Tough zips, well padded straps and a next to the body ‘secret’ security sleeve top off the deal. Very pleased

In my opinion one of the best brands of Molle bags
I have had manay of these over tge years. In my opinion one of the best brands of Molle bags, made in Germany with great capacity, good compartment sizes, it also has the ability to open it into two halves, the zips are very sturdy and compression straps extremely useful.

Perfekter Rucksack!
Farbe: grau in small.
