Mil-Tec Light bar 2,5 x 35 cm magnum

Q: How's the stitching and material quality? And the overall build quality? Is Heavy Duty 1000 D nylon and have w/ YKK Zippers

The stitching seems solid except there are a few spots that I worry about where the bag can be tightened. I don't see a tag for Heavy Duty 1000 D Nylon and the zippers don't appear to be YKK. I actually have a problem with the material in the bag. There are pockets to place pens in but the material can be poked through and it completely ripped through on my bag. Also the bag is no where close to being waterproof.

Q: Everybody has a good first impression on this backpack, but has anyone had it for a while? If you have please comment on how it is.

I've had mine for over 6 yrs with zero issues!!! I use it for hiking, biking, and everyday use. I have hauled over 80 lbs of rock at once for nearly 2 miles, that's on top of the many, many times i've carried 20-30 lbs of rock! I'm a rock hound btw! No rips or tears or fraying of any kind!! I don't baby this pack, it gets treated like crap!! This pack has ended up being one of my best amazon purchases!! I'm sure this isn't the absolute best backpack, but for the price, it's damn close!!!

Q: is this bag waterproof

The bag kept my items dry in a day long light drizzle but I have yet to be caught in a down pour. The outer most pocket does have a vinyl layer inside the pouch. However, the zippers do not have a cover flap over the zipper so I would probably list this as water resistant rather than water proof. The pack did adjust & carry well and I am 100% pleased with it thus far. Hope this helps.

Q: not sure if i am going color blind but is this bag really green? I am only asking as it looks grey to me.

The color is not really green or grey but a mix of both. The bag I have looks just like the one pictured on the page.
