Good value on underwater enclosure
I bought this for my LX100 instead of buying a new underwater point and shoot camera. It is significantly larger than your typical underwater point and shoot so that is something to keep in mind if you were planning to carry it around all day. It also draws some attention to itself. I purchased it for a snorkeling adventure in Honduras and received a lot of questions and comments on how cool the camera was. As to how it works and functions, inserting the camera into the case is relatively easy, but read the instructions as to what settings the camera need to be on and how the dials need to line up on the camera and case. For example, the aperture setting needs to be at F16 on the LX100 and the dial on the case needs to be turned so the white lines line up. When the camera is in the enclosure, you have access to most of the settings you will need. You will need to decide whether or not you will want flash on/off before closing the enclosure and will need to bring the camera out of the water to make a change there. They probably could have put another know on the enclosure for the flash, but it does not have one. You won't want to leave the camera in the enclosure for photos outside of the water as the glass in the front is designed for underwater images and degrades the quality out of the water. Also, you can pick up refelection of the camera lens in the enclosure while out of water. Underwater images look really nice. The enclosure also as a mount for a light. One other important thing to keep in mind is the enclosure is boyant and will float. I have used twice now for snorkeling and so far it has worked great. I'm sure the more expensive enclosures offer more features or easier access to settings, but I found this to be more than sufficient for my use. It is also cheaper than buying a higher quality underwater point and shoot camera.

sturdy plastic and looks werv well built
The housing is made of thicker, sturdy plastic and looks werv well built. There are some buttons and wheels missing (autofocus/manual focus) for example. Some of the rubber wheels felt off and i had to glued them back in placemade about 20 dives with it, no problems so far.For the price it's a very good deal!
