Fit my transit connect good. Took 20 minutes to install by myself. Good Instructions.

Mounting this wasn’t that bad have had on the van now for about 10 months I pull a 6x8 utility trailer with a x570 mower on it total weight is about 1600 pounds maybe a little more hitch is holding up just fine I’m glad I bought it.

My Ford Transit Connect has become a much more versatile vehicle with this hitch installed. I was very satisfied with the ease of installing it; I did this in my driveway with a set of ramps. I backed the van onto the ramps and had plenty of room underneath. I did this job by myself but I've much experience working by myself and using blocks had this hitch on in a half hour. The included hardware makes things easy with blind hole wires included. Really, this was simple and things went together just as they should. The hitch was well finished and looks nice under the back of the van. Very satisfied with this product. Good stuff.

I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO REVIEWING THIS HITCH. IT WAS A PERFECT MATCH FOR MY 2016 FORD TRANSIT CONNECT CARGO VAN. USING A FLOOR JACK, IT TOOK ME NO MORE THAN 30 MINUTES TO INSTALL. IT IS INGENIOUS HOW THEY GIVE YOU THE WIRES TO FEED THE BOLTS THROUGH TO PUT ON THE BOLTS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT INSTALLING THIS YOURSELF, GREAT INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUTUBE, AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BE MECHANICALLY INCLINED.

Installation couldn't have been easier. A buddy and I installed this on a 2015 Transit Connect LWB without the need to lift it. We simply used the slope on the driveway, laid on the ground under the bumper and had this installed in maybe 15 minutes. The hardest part was feeding the wires to pull the plates and bolts through the mounting holes. It fits perfectly.

Nice quality and workmanship. Finish was nice and the hardware was good quality. Included very helpful parts that made installation a breeze.

It was a simple install with good instructions. I only had one mistake and it was my own. 2015, long wheel base "wagon" passenger model.There are two sizes of bolts. Be sure to match the fishing wires with the right size, on one of them I mismatched and had difficulty getting a bolt through - my first one - added quite a bit of time to the operation. After that one it was a cinch when I realized my error.Leave the fishing wires in place until you're ready to put the nut on so you don't accidentally knock a bolt back into the frame while positioning the receiver (I didn't have this error, but I've done enough mechanical work in my lifetime to see it coming).The instructions are pretty good in general. They aren't wordy enough for my taste, but they get the job done, I actually read them because honestly I've never done this before and had no clue what to expect.
