I am glad I ordered it. I found a couple of sample pages online that I liked, so I went for the book and didn’t regret it. Not the usual boring repetitive tasks.

Colorful, Sectional, Easy to use. Used as a practice workbook to en-force School work. Had answers which you can always remove to prevent cheating. Planning to order grade 2. Some things was easier than some but after constant repetition with the activities got the idea & concept was able to do assigned pages alone. (Maybe be different with your child).

I love this book. It’s perfect. It’s not too busy and is engaging and age appropriate. My 6 1/2 year old learned to read in kindergarten and this book is exactly what I wanted him to work through for 1st grade language arts. It has fun, age-appropriate activities that are engaging and educational. We homeschool and keep our lessons short so we typically work through 2-3 pages a day and call it good. The activities emphasize his spelling lessons and the phonics he learned in K that we continue to master. Perfect language arts book for kiddos who read well or have just learned to read! I looked and looked for a book like this and am so thankful I found it! The book is thick too and for such a deal! Highly, highly recommend.

During the recent lockdowns, I taught my granddaughter to read and used a number of workbooks such as this Sylvan one. It was our least favourite.
