Installed in 15 minutes and saved all my frozen Food
First of all I do no recommend you repair the freezer fan this way.I broke open the front cover in the freezer in one large piece and had access to the fan right away.Removed the 2 screws holding the fan and removed the existing fan without taking apart the freezer. For the 2 screws you need a 1/4 inch driver and two hands to remove the screws from behind and disconnect the electric cable. Make sure you unplug the Fridge. The motor mount has only two 1/4 screws to remove and replace with the new motor. One drop of oil on each screw makes them easy to remove. Then when the new motor was installed I placed the cover that I broke out into position and used one short 1/4" sheet metal screw into one of the existing slots (holes) and the cover held in perfectly. I could have drilled one hole to insert a holding screw if that had failed. Only problem was I replaced the mount while the freezer was still frozen and it was ice cold on my hands and face. Worked great but the right way is to defrost it and take the back plate, light and ice maker out of the freezer. The reason I risked breaking the old motor out was one brand new plastic cover costs only $16.00. No one ever orders this part so there is no demand and there were many covers in their parts inventory.

Reasonably priced, speedy delivery
This arrived a day early, thank you Amazon! We were without a refrigerator for a week, simply because all other parts suppliers including but not limited to Frigidaire themselves were issuing a part that does not even match the appliance. This was simple to replace and worked immediately. Thank God, because it's 90° out today and the coolers weren't cutting it. Thank you to whomever is responsible for a timely delivery and a reasonable cost.

Easy replacement, value for money
The media could not be loaded. I had a cold freezer, but a warm fridge. I checked the fan inside the freezer compartment and it seemed to spin, but ice would clog the channel going down from the freezer to the fridge. I was tired of defrosting it every other week, so decided to change the fan finally. I was skeptical as the old fan was spinning and working, although I did not know if it was spinning at optimal speed pushing enough air from freezer down to the fridge. This replacement was easy to add in about 30 minutes. The only problem I had was that the spindle was a little thinner than the original, so the fan blades would slide right out. I added a small piece of packaging foil to ensure a tight fit and that took care of it. After I plugged it in, I could immediately tell the difference, as the fan ran a lot faster and clearly moved a lot more air. I let the fridge run for 24 hours and temperature in the fridge started holding steady. I am writing this review a month later, so far so good. Just watch a few YouTube videos and you can do it too!

Lasted for about a year. Luckily it's cheap.
The fan was a perfect replacement for the OEM fan that went out. The install was easy and the fan worked just like the OEM..... for a year then the spindle locked up in the motor. Luckily I caught it before the items in the refrigerator got warm. I'd recommend order 2 to always have a spare.
