How much weight can this hold?

I wouldn't use this for anything over 150 pounds. From day one, it creaked and strained under the weight of 170-200 pounds, even as we slowly and carefully stood on it to reach a shelf. It broke along its strongest point with 194 lbs. this afternoon after putting one foot on it. About this item 300 lb. capacity with grip-dot textured surface makes the folding step stool safe for everyone, including kids. (Disregard Old Product Sticker with 200 lb. Limit. What are the dimensions of the flat standing area?

Just measured it: 11 1/2 by 8 1/2. And I love mine! Use it all the time, it takes up no space at all.

Can this hold a 14" destop computer? It is light and plastic, weighs about 47 pounds. For long period of time.

I weight 107 lbs and stand on it all the time to reach high things in cabinets. It is lightweight plastic. Not sure if it would eventually warp from the constant weight but seems very sturdy to me. Hope this helps.
