Good speed, decent functions and zero bloatwear.
I keep this at all times behind the tv and its always reading. Been holding onto it for a long time and it still works with all the removing and inserting here and there. Its like the toyota of usbs.

One of the Fastest Flash Drives.
SanDisk Extreme Go is really the one of the fastest (yet affordable) USB flash drive (of course not to compare M.2 SSDs with USB Case or the Pro version of Sandisk Extreme). Speed of the Raw Write is a bit strange for me. only limits up to 100MB/s where it should have been more. Maybe because I am using a USB Adapter hub with the USB3 port. still speed of 80 to 100 MB/s is still amazingly fast.

Failed after 8 months
Failed after 8 months, what else is there to say, speed is decent similar to that advertised. Very dissapointing and also the first USB I received I returned immediately as this was not working at all so certainly won't be trying 3rd time lucky.

Gute Leistung

Handy mass storage to go, with more than good enough security
The 128GB version of this is the "upgrade" pick from Wirecutter for flash drives, except it's only $4 more than their normal pick, at 64GB. 128GB in your pocket for only $32 (at the time of this review) is really ridiculous. The transfer speeds are very fast. I don't bother doing my own benchmarkings--google them if you care, but they're very good at USB 3.1 rates. I really like the sliding & locking mechanism to protect the USB connection. Bigger than a thumbnail sized drive, but small enough to put on my keychain. The included (for free) encrypted drive system is easy enough to use. Its GUI a bit clunky to navigate, but to launch it, just double click on the .exe file that's on the unencrypted partition. It uses the AES 128 synchronous cipher, which is more than strong enough for most needs. It looks like you can upgrade it for a price, but you can also store your own end-to-end encrypted Trucrypt or Veracrypt "file" (volume) if you're that paranoid.

Great speeds at an average price
I'll start out by saying I purchased three flash drives at the same time and can provide some comparison between them all. Overall I think the Sandisk Extreme Go series is probably the overall best value for the money. Pros: Speed- This drive, while not the fastest at reads, offers a great combo of quick read and write speeds. I was easily achieving over 150mbps read and up to 180mbps at times, while also having write speeds around 140mbps. Form- A little big, but it was light and feels solid enough Formatting- Came ready to go with NTFS, Cons: Price- Not super expensive, but costs more than some other brands. Casing- Some may think the light plastic casing will be too weak. Compared to a Samsung FIT flash drive and an Arcanite drive I can confidently say that this is the best value. Arcanite had read speeds approaching 300mbps, but writes would quickly slow to 50-70mbps. That means this Sandisk drive would finish a write almost three time faster. The smaller samsung drive also had fast reads, but only 35mbps on the writes. For a final note I would say to buy larger than you think you need. Files are so much bigger now I wouldn't purchase anything below 128GB unless you know that its only for a subset of smaller files.

Impressive flash drive as fast as some of the PC SSD drives
Sandisk, You did it again. Your fastest flash drives may not me physically small, but they always deliver in terms of performance. Design is exactly like on the promo shots: full-black with shiny strip and blue LED hidden underneath it. When the drive is connected, it glows in "breathe" mode and when you copy/read data, it turns into pulsing mode. The diode is strong enough to be easily seen, yet not too much which would annoy/distract the user. Simple, informative, nice looking. As for the case, aluminium would be more in place just for the sake of looks (temperatures aren't an issue here, at all), yet Sandisk keeps sticking with plastic. Plug's ejecting and hiding mechanism feels solid enough for many years of use and helps reducing already significant length of the drive. Speeds are exactly like promised: 150 MB/s write is in range synthetically or on many small files, while on larger files You achieve stable 100 MB/s. Overall: great pick for power users, operating on large amount of data and expecting highest speeds possible. While the looks can seem cheap (big size & plastic case), it's the components that count. And that's where the Sandisk smashes the competitors.
