Amazing upgrade from Soundcore 1 & 2, perfect if you don't need AUX/3.5mm
TL;DR:- No aux- USB-C charging- Noticeably improved sound compared to gen 1 and gen 2- much shorter delay in audio to video. No delay when connected to my Google TV Streamer 4k- Easily worth the price point in my opinionI've owned multiple Soundcore 1's and a couple of Soundcore 2's. One of my Soundcore 2's died on me after several years of service (first Soundcore to ever die on me) so I decided to give the Soundcore 3 a try.First of all, I messed up when I ordered this speaker (but I'm glad I did). I assumed this had an Aux port, but it doesn't. That's on me. This wasn't falsely advertised as having one, I had just made the assumption it would because the versions before had them. Unfortunately, what I originally needed it for required an aux jack. Thankfully, I own multiple Soundcores and all the rest have Aux jacks. Most of my Soundcores are driving audio for screens. This is why Aux was so important to me. Bluetooth audio typically has a 1 or 2 second delay. So I tried to find where I could make this work with Bluetooth.I have a Soundcore 1 hooked up to a projector that's being driven by a Google TV Streamer 4K. I know Google's streaming devices are usually pretty good at calculating delay with bluetooth speakers, so I connected the Soundcore 3 to the Google TV Streamer 4k (Not the projector) and it worked beautifully. IF there was ANY delay, it wasn't noticeable to my family and I. Pairing with bluetooth is easy as it was with the previous models: hold down the bluetooth button for a couple of seconds and the speaker will chime and the bluetooth light will flash, indicating it's ready to pair. There is a noticeable improvement to the sound with the Soundcore 3. The sound is clear, crisp, and the bass doesn't drown out the treble or mid.Controls are Simple and should be familiar to anyone who already owns a Soundcore 1 or 2. The middle button is the soundcore logo. It's replaced the play button, but does the same and also mimics many of the classic controls that wireless earbuds have.Example: 1 tap - pause/play. 2 taps - forward a song. 3 taps - restart / previous songThe volume buttons are mid left and mid right where they've been on all models. The front has a new design compared to the 1 and 2. It has a very similar body to the soundcore 2 with a matte rubber like finish. It is slightly wider or "deeper" than the soundcore 2 front to back, but is similar in height, length and weight. The USB-C port is an awesome upgrade in my opinion. USB-C can charge devices MUCH faster than micro-USB, so if your device is dead and you need a charge, it can hit max battery a lot faster.VERY happy that I accidentally purchased this. I also tested it on a device that's not friendly with bluetooth delay sync, The delay was noticeable but CONSIDERABLY shorter compared to the Soundcore 1 and 2.I can't wait to start bringing this out by the pool this summer to play music for my family and guests.

Yes! This is perfect.
Yes! This is everything I thought the Soundcore 2 would be. Though good, this is much better. It has better sound balance, better bass response, better volume. The Bluetooth connections are excellent. I pair this with my laptop, which gives me excellently portable sound. I like this version. The only down side is you only get maybe 20 hours of play time, but it is easy enough to charge at night, so it's ready to go in the morning.

Amazing how good it sounds, and how easy it is to pair
I’ve used various Bluetooth headphones and speakers. Some sound good but have onerous software or finicky pairing, some pair easily but have tinny audio or poor battery performance. This little device manages to have a nice, rich, full sound without any technical vices. I turn it on, it pairs seamlessly with my iPad Pro, and soon I am working happily in my garage, listening to my music, podcasts, and audiobooks, thinking I have spent more than I have on audio equipment. Is it the pinnacle of audio hardware? No. But it sounds great, lasts very long on a charge, and is dead simple to use. It goes anywhere and is all I could want in a portable Bluetooth speaker. Great value for the money. So glad I got it.

Great Everyday Speaker with a Few Minor Trade-Offs
The Anker Soundcore 3 is a very solid Bluetooth speaker, especially for casual, everyday use. The sound is clean and well-balanced, with decent bass for the size, and the dual drivers plus passive radiators really help deliver a full audio experience. I also appreciate the BassUp technology—it gives the low end a noticeable boost without overwhelming the mids or highs, making it perfect for pop, hip-hop, or podcasts.Battery life is one of the standout features. I regularly get around 20 hours of playtime on a single charge, which makes it incredibly convenient for travel or long days outside. The IPX7 waterproof rating is another major plus, letting me use it poolside or in the shower without worry. The build quality is what you’d expect from Anker—sturdy, compact, and well-designed with simple button controls that are easy to use even without looking. However, it’s not without its limitations. The sound can feel a bit flat or compressed at higher volumes, especially compared to more premium or larger speakers. While it does get fairly loud, it doesn’t quite fill a larger space as well as I’d hoped. And although the Soundcore app gives you some EQ control, it’s pretty limited in terms of customization. The Bluetooth connection is stable, and pairing is quick, but I noticed that sometimes there’s a slight lag when switching between devices. Not a dealbreaker, but a bit of an inconvenience if you regularly use multiple sources.Overall, the Soundcore 3 is a great value speaker that gets most things right—especially if you’re looking for long battery life, waterproofing, and dependable audio for small to medium spaces. It's not the most powerful or feature-packed speaker out there, but for the price, it’s a very safe and satisfying pick. Just temper your expectations if you’re looking for room-shaking sound.

Exceptional sound for little cost
Excellent sound quality over many music genres, worth the price over soundcore 2 , yes it is double the cost but absolutely worth it .Battery life is excellent.Use of soundcore app for best sound quality, and easy to sync with my other soundcore products.

Awesome Portable Computer Speaker
I bought two of these for work. I thought I would have to use both by syncing them together, but it turns out one was loud enough! I use the extra speaker at my secondary work site. The sound quality is excellent and having the option of going wireless is a plus, although I usually leave it plugged in to the charger so I don’t have to think about it.
