Q: How do you install these correctly? I know the blue side is to the back, but there are 2 notches as well. Is one notch installed on the top and bottom

It depend on what filter you are using, I have a canister filter so the black side it to the bottom

Q: Does this product fit a aqua tech 5/15 filter?

I’m not sure as I only use marineland filter.

Hi Elizabeth! The blue faces the back of the filter, with the black plastic facing the front. The cut out areas will be on the right, with the widest one up top, if you are standing in front of the tank, facing it. Hope this makes sense, but if not, let me know!
