I got this to keep my little monsters from clawing the furniture. Two of my cats love it (the other prefers cabinets unfortunately) and clawing the furniture has just about stopped. It’s very easy to assemble, as long as your cat doesn’t run off with the head (so soft and squishy!). It’s also a decent height so your cats can stretch a little while they scratch. The only problem I have is that the hemp rope was a little loose and I had to reglue it. That said, my cats are really rough on scratching posts, and this one is much better than their previous one - it collapsed because they destroyed the tubing underneath the rope. This one is sturdy and doesn’t tip or shake when my calf (a BIG cow cat) does his thing.

Cat first avoided this scratching post. Appears he didn't know this is a scratching post, probably because it's much bigger than most others. Sprinkled some catnip on the post, and he quickly familiarized himself with the post. Post appears to be very sturdy, does not wobble or wiggle at all. PetnPurr adds a lot of character to the room and blends in with the couch it's next to. Extra height allows cat to fully extend his body. Perfect ...

Our cat scratching post was teetering and coming apart so we wanted to replace it with a much sturdier one. This one is great! Thick single piece base that does not teeter and the llama head is so cute. Cats like it too!

This seems like a great scratching post. It is sturdy and very cute. We named it Alberto the alpaca. However, my kitten is not a fan of Alberto so far. Maybe it's too big for now, or too rough (the rope is rather uncomfortable to touch on human hands at least). Hopefully she'll get to enjoy it soon though!

I was in love with this the moment I saw it and, honestly, got this one for me. It's SO cute! Oh, and the cat loves it, too!It took less than 5 minutes to assemble and is much wider, taller, and sturdier than other scratchers I've purchased. My cat can really get a good stretch and sleeps on the base sometimes.The head of the llama is surprisingly soft and quishy, like a stuffed animal. Overall 10/10

I have two cats that scratch the post several times a day,for one to last more than a couple months is BIG! This one is Fantastic! It's extremely sturdy, and barely any wear as of today, I've had this post about 6 months, thinking of purchasing another now to put up for the future just in case!?!? It won't disappoint
